Do I risk putting Ramo in for fantasy or go with Anderson vs WPG?

I am going to assume a multipoint, and first goal of the year from Voracek, and that hte flames will give up 4 goals yet again.
I will be happy, win or lose, if the flames somehow manage to give up 2 or less goals tonight. that will be an actual step in the right direction.......
not sure about the forward lines, as we've basically put the 2 guys driving the offense on the same line. I liked the forward lines the past few games as it gave us 2 solid scoring threats.
Go Flames, please let this be the game that turns things around!

Might as well concentrate the important players in the rebuild together to see if they work as a unit.

Also like Hamilton back in the top 4 but wished he would have been paired with Brodie as that seems like the long term pair for the team and Brodie makes everyone look/play better

Definitely try any and all line combos to get something going at this point. But there's not exactly a chasm between Backlund and Stajan's play. in 13 games, Backlund has one goal. Stajan has one assist. Backlund has positive shot attempt % and Rel%. Stajan has been better at faceoffs. Both are used on the PK. Backlund has 6 more minutes of PP time. Not a great case to make for either guy.
So sure, try either of them there.

Is Backlund injured or just playing with no confidence and like crap? I know he is a better player than he has shown. I have seen it. I guess the Flames don't have much choice than to be patient and let him get his game back. Also why are we giving up so many shots every game? Poor defense? bad systems? forwards not getting back? I really don't understand how we can be so poor defensively with the lineup that we have.

It was weird last game to see the Avs blocked 30 (!!) shots and the Flames only blocked 6, especially when the Flames have been blocking so many for so long. It's almost enough to make we wonder if they were told as a group to get out of the way and let the goalie see the puck and make the save. Who knows?

Oh I'm not complaining. Made some bad picks but I got Benn and Klingberg. Cruise control.

I really like those lines.
Gaudreau and Bennett have played well together; hopefully will get Monahan going. Bennett also adds a little more grit and tenacity compared to Hudler.
Frolik and Hudler should complement each other well; while Backlund is struggling offensively but he won't be needed to carry this line on his own.
Colborne, Stajan and Jones can all cycle, play heavy, and put the puck in the net.
Bollig Jooris and Grant can crash and be a true energy line (something Raymond is not suited for).
D pairings also look good -- everyone is probably where they should be from a 5-on-5 standpoint.

All very good points - neither appear to be great options!
I would assume on average so far this season that Backlund has had the better line mates as compared to Stajan so that was my thinking on giving Stajan a chance with Hudler and Frolik

Love that Backlund is getting some wingers that will compliment his game. I will predict that he puts up multiple points tonight.
Go Flames Go!

I don't understand how we kept Hudler mony and Johnny together for so long to begin the season. I'm not even the biggest fan of having he kids all together. I think we have such a poor bottom 6 that we shouldn't ever have our best 3 on the same line. Ever

Ps mason Raymond annoys me. He shoots more than ovechkin and he's also the most predictable player in the NHL. I can tell what he will do before he receives the puck
