Well it now has a straight 10/10 on IMDB, and with 9,000 more votes will jump straight to #1 on the 250 list. 95% of all votes are 10/10. God Bless America.

Apparently South Korean activists have gotten their hands on a copy of the movie and sending copies by balloon into North Korea.
So I'm not going to be able to watch the movie but the North Koreans are?
So how exactly are North Koreans going to watch the movie? Most don't even get enough food much less have a dvd or whatever tech is needed to watch whatever format of the movie is being 'ballooned' over.

There is actually a pretty decent black market for Western culture and South Korean culture.
PBS's frontline did a documentary on North Korea last year after Kim Jong Un took over and they showed hidden camera video of a guy selling DVDs hidden inside his coat on the street much like you would expect a drug dealer to do.
They also showed a video of a guy helping to smuggle in laptops and portable dvd players into North Korea and with those laptops he sent in USB sticks filled with movies and TV shows.
I agree that the ability to watch this stuff is probably out of the hands of most citizens, but there are many especially those in the main cities who can watch it.
But sending it by balloon is probably really inefficient. Most will get destroyed by soldiers and the ones that don't probably will take a long time to make it to someone's hands that can watch it if it all.

I watched an IGN segment yesterday that brought up some interesting points about this:
- This is not just a US free speech issue. When US free speech laws may have violent impacts in other parts of the world (Japan, S. Korea), is a US citizens right to free speech trumped by the physical safety of other nations' people?
- People may say that free speech/freedom of expression takes a hit by shutting this down, when really, because of other avenues, this could cause more people to see than ever would have otherwise and art may infact win out in the end. It wouldn't surprise me if Franco and Rogen just leaked the movie online themelves. They won't make any money from it, but it's not like they need it. It'll probably end up being one of the most downloaded movies ever. Pirates vs Hackers.
Anonymous joins the fray, announces "vegeance on North Korea" for Sony hack. Hint they will release the movie on Christmas Day. http://www.inquisitr.com/1691688/ano...-with-opripnk/ If this was all just one big movie opening publicity stunt, it's the greatest one of all-time.
Edit: ...And I see I was beaten by hours in the other thread. I see...now..

I'm a big fan of Seth's work, but The Interview just wasn't funny. Bill Haders opening monologue from Pineapple express had more laughs than this movie did.

I like Rogen. 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Neighbors, Paul, Pineapple Express are all great. But This is the End was pretty damn horrible in my eyes, other than the chocolate bar scene and Emma Watson. I just didn't find it very funny, and I like crude over the top humor
Rogen and Franco on Naked and Afraid is prime example of why I'm tired of their odd bromance. The routine isn't funny anymore

Just blows me away that there are people that don't like this is the end! And there's no way neighbors was more funny than this is the end
