Definitely not confirmed yet, there's been a bit of smoke though. Nintendo Direct tomorrow is the last kick at the can to get any big news on it soon I think.

Pikmin 4 was a ton of fun, and one of the best recent games I've played that you can pick up and play for 10-15 minutes, or for two hours. I think I'm as far as I'm going to get without pulling my hair out on the last few Dandori and night challenges.

Yeah maybe shot a bit early but I regularly search for updates and yesterday some dude tweeted that the release date was set for 09/08/2024 (ah the classic- is this August?! September?!).
Doesn’t look to be confirmed by Team Cherry or major system retailers so take it with a ginormous grain of salt unfortunately.
Hope it’s true though! You’ll see what I mean if you google it.

Yeah I found the one you found, it was definitely just that person goofing around.
I follow this stuff very closely (like people in FoI follow Flames stuff) and I would say... don't even get your hopes up for the Nintendo Direct tomorrow. Maybe, though.

Hard to believe Prime 4 will be a Switch game. Looks fantastic AND had better performance than the other new games Nintendo showed off today!

Good showings by everyone but Sony. Pretty bleak next year or two to own a PS5.
PC, Xbox and Nintendo gamers having some exciting games coming up.

If the metric is “can I play it anywhere else (including PC)” then Xbox doesn’t have even one exclusive game period. 
I’m a Nintendo guy and Astro Bot is the most interested I’ve been in a Sony first party game in years, that’s a day one for sure. I’d bet money on it being one of the most critically acclaimed games of the year and an easy GOTY contender.
