And that's that. Jays lose 6-1. That one hurt.

Jays still a full 3 games up on the WC thanks to the other contending teams also sucking. Now a full 3.0 back of the division. Looking more and more entrenched in the one game playoff. My heart isn't ready for that.

Can't believe all the errors that Jays have been making lately. Not to mention the men left on base. I sometimes wonder if they're trying to hard and unable to relax. Always swinging for the fences when a single might be the best option.

No kidding.

I want to enjoy this playoff chase because it so rarely happens being a Blue Jay fan, but 5-10 in September is not fun at all to watch. And that joke of a performance last night against a crappy pitcher, and a crappy team that had lost 5 in a row and was 1-9 in their last 10 games was despicable.

5-10 in September, and 13 errors in those 15 games

Just brutal

Especially considering they are the oldest team in the majors, and were in it just last season

Also should have been called for runner interference at 2nd, which would have meant no run scored

The Jays sure like making terrible pitchers and rookies look like strikeout machines.

JD hit it hard, but of course it had to be right at the third baseman.

So frustrating. Either stupidity, bad luck or just plain terrible baseball. Nothing seems to work here in Sept.

Even if they manage not to blow this and limp into the playoffs, does anyone think they'll be anything but fodder for one of the 3 division winners? Not likely unless they pull their heads out.

Yeah really that's the type of execution we've been looking for.
Walk.
Hit and Run to get the runner to 3rd
Hard hit ball that should have cashed him in
The thing is in baseball you need to do that again and again otherwise luck will play against you at times.
