Might as well be swimming is sewage sludge when getting inside the car everytime.
To be honest, muddy disgusting mats piss me off more than a dirty outside of a car.

Plus any autowash is at least 10 bucks, and they all leave those ugly dirt marks around the license plate that it can't reach. I know that doesn't really matter in the end, but for 5 bucks I can spray my car off myself and at least enjoy a clean car in my garage for one night

For a couple of toonies I spray the entire car and wheel wells to get the grime and salt of my vehicle. I also wait until a cold snap is coming and that way I have a nice clean car until the next chinook

Ever think of using paper or cardboard to cover the mats in winter? Soaks up the sludge.

Then you have dirty, wet cardboard. That’s worse.

Then you could easily sweep it away with a broom.

Brooms are for peasants. And they require more work from the operator.
