Why doesn't someone just post how they weaponized the whales in a spoiler tag or something? Why the big secrecy? I don't think WB is gonna come after you or anything and very few people actually care beyond hearing about how dumb it is.

Weird, I thought that was older, but sure as sht it was released in July 1999. While technically the 90s, I think it's fair to call it 2000s. Probably didn't hit Blockbuster until the 2000s, anyway.
Yeah fair. Although I think they're only technically in HS in the first one.
After that it's College Years etc
edit:
90s you not only had stuff like Clueless but also the Slasher revivals thanks to Scream.

Finally got around to see Oppenheimer last night. Not really news, but it was such a well made film. I know Nolan's time jumping narrative can be off-putting, but I thought it was a great movie.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
Napoleon Dynamite was utterly lost on me. At the time of release I thought it was just plain unfunny; the teen awkwardness thing dialed up to 11 didn't strike a chord and really started to grate on me to the point where it was basically unwatchable.
My 10-years-younger brother thinks the movie is god's cinematic gift to his generation, so I chalked up my opinion to being old.

I watched the feminist western Forty Guns, what a wonderful film. I have seen like 3 westerns in my life but this year I'm making an effort to watch more Westerns and Noir films. Forty Guns is about 3 brothers who roll into town to serve a warrant but the town is run by Barbara Stanwick and her gang of 40 men . The men get involved with the town when the younger brother of Stanwick shoots the blind sheriff in the leg. I absolutely loved this movie and the shots of the Arizona landscape are beautiful in black and white

Good lord, if you are just getting into westerns now, be prepared for your entire cinematic view to take a hard turn to awesome. By the end of this year I expect you to post a picture of yourself looking like old John Ford.

Dumb oldie: If you're after a really stupid, dumb, fun movie: I recommend Deep Blue Sea. We just watched this and it's maybe one of the most hilariously stupid movies I've ever seen where I've been fully entertained the entire time. It's actually got a great cast, and LL Cool J is in it.
If you're after a shark movie with a really deep story, this isn't the one for you. But if you're after something completely ridiculous with Thomas Jane, Stellan Starsgard, Samuel L Jackson and Michael Rappaport, this is the dumb one for you. I really enjoyed it!
