Average ? The bullpen has now given up 21 runs (I’m including runs that they inherited ) in 24 innings
Nothing average about it. It a complete dumpster fire

Don't trust Gausman, don't trust Yesavage, why bother naming starters?

Mariners have 6 runs. HBP, Walk, HR. Infield Single, IBB, HR. Slug matters so much. The Mariners havent strung together hits all series and are about to be up 2-0.

Especially when your strength isn’t the bullpen. And they have been worse than normal lately .
It makes zero sense

Stadium seemed pissed Yes was taken out. Not a fan of starting pitchers being babied when the bullpen isnt superior.

Poor wording, I’m in full agreement saying that Schneider is nuts given that the average performance of bullpen is bad.

The difference so far in the series is the Mariners have come up with big hits and the Jays haven’t

We’re not winning the series if Vladdy goes ice cold.

I dunno who this Bazardo guy is. But he is having the postseason that dreams are made of. He has been unhittable.

A poor bullpen should be a factor in any decision at this point of the season.
Problem is, even if they had a great bullpen, there was no reason to pull your top starter yesterday and today, Yesaveage who had given up one or two baserunner since the first and looked confident, gave up an infield hit and that was enough for the laptop/Schnedier to pull him. Two batter later they are down by 3.
As mentioned above, if your manager doesn’t trust that their two supposed best pitchers can’t get out of a little speed bump in an inning doesn’t bode well for everything else. And he has done this before in previous playoffs too.
