I got the season passes for around $60 this weekend with a sale.
They add about 5x the amount of play time per game; however, my computer is having a hard time rendering on my ever-expanding Crown Falls city

I gave up on Crown Falls at some point for the same reason and it got a bit boring.

4 months after release, Sony is requiring all Helldivers 2 PC players to link their account with a PSN account. Making the game unplayable for players in countries where PSN is not supported.

I asked a Latvian friend about it earlier and he basically said it's pretty overblown since everyone there just uses a UK PSN account or something. I think a lot of the blow up online is typical outrage culture, mad to be mad
That said it's always been super annoying when you get a game and have to make or link certain accounts to play. EA, Ubisoft, 2k, take two, fricking almost everyone does it now and it's so annoying

The issue most have with it is that it's 4 months after release and Sony doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to keeping your private personal data secure.
Sure people use a PSN account from a country that is supported but technically you have to jump through multiple hoops (VPN, providing false info) to set it up and because you aren't being truthful if Sony determines you aren't following the agreed upon user policy they can ban your account.
I agree the account setup #### with everyone and their aunt is annoying but enforcing it 4 months after launch is the issue. I have family in Estonia that are strictly PC players that have no intent to create a PSN account for any game and have uninstalled the game.
Just a nuisance that could have been avoided/scrapped after the launch if it couldn't be implemented properly by release.
Update: Helldivers 2 has been delisted from Steam in 177 countries. Some users that have created a PSN account for a supported country and using a VPN break the ToS and are reporting bans.

I love city builders so I had to try Manor Lords based on all the hype. It's absolutely gorgeous and being able to fit buildings along irregular roads makes for some compelling and unique settlements. Unfortunately, all of the mechanics are broken as they're not fleshed or and more than 3/4 of the game is just "early access/not yet developed". I'm sure it'll be a great game but it's less than a demo at this point.

I think the dev pushed back against Sony really hard too by the sounds of it

Good on them, I feel bad for Arrowhead in all this, a good lesson learned for the future on working with a publisher.

Hades II is now in early access. The press release says it'll stay in that mode until end of 2024, with major updates coming every few months until then. They say there are "key areas, characters, foes, narrative events and systems" still not included, as well as "the true ending to the story".
I'm torn. I'd like to play it before the end of the year, but at the same time, I don't want to play a significantly stripped down version of it. I'll probably wait a bit.

I'll sometimes buy early access games if I want to support the developer but I don't play them until they get a full release. I think Hades II is definitely worth waiting for.
