Wonder if there is a deal to be had with the Kraken at 20, could get one of Barlow, Moore, Perrault, Cristall

Depends on how much they liked Honzek too. He was projected to go in this area. I actually though Nashville might take him.

This was obviously their top guy remaining
Flames have a strong track record in recent drafts with all due respect

I would have rather taken a swing at a super skilled small guy than a big 3rd line winger.
Cristall/Moore/Barlow/Perrault even ASP we’re all there.

watched the highlights, Honzek is patient, has good hands around the net, good on breakaways, doesn't panic and out waits the goalies instead of just putting it on net, has a good 1 timer i like the pick

I mentioned this earlier today when reviewing a couple of the mock drafts. Honzek reminds me a lot of Monahan from the video I've seen. Nice hands and a good finisher. Not a great skater but manages to find the scoring areas to clean up the garbage. Can make some soft passes but not a great puck handler. More of a north-south player. I think Honzek would have been a great Sutter player. He'll have to work on his skating to get to the NHL IMO.

Based on the Flames drafting, pretty happy we’re not trading players for picks.

Don'tcha know.....everybody knows more than the Flames.
It's kinda like one of my client's uncle's friend who knows tons about tax (but doesn't practice it) and has all these terrific ideas about how my client can save tax and what I *should* be doing for him. Ugh.

Please. Let's get some insurance for this pick in case.
Flames I suspect need multiple to hit on one.

I was hoping for ASP or Moore, but let's hope Honzek ends up better. It sure would be nice to have another first round pick.
