Whoa. Finally...the heroic little bugger didn't want to die, but he just ran out of time and runway.

Man, if that Musetti forehand was in before Diego dumped it in the net, it was just in (Robbie Koenig would call it a line licker). Congrats to Musetti, heck of a win.

Gonna be interesting to see how much Diego has left in his tank. He's got a doubles match scheduled later tonight.
He and his partner are playing the Skupski Bros.

The randomness of these draws really rears its odd head at times.
Tallon Greekspoor had just beat Denis Kudla in the FQR, but Kudla got back in as a LL and is currently back facing....wait for it...Greekspoor.

Paire knows he's going to lose to Greek Yogurt, so I'm thinking he's either heading to the beach afterwards or the club.

Another big win for Jannik Sinner today taking out RBA in three sets. Amazing that the kid didn't even start playing tennis seriously until about age 13 (was a excellent skier prior to taking up tennis).

Looking at the draw, if Shapo doesn't make the finals it will be a huge missed opportunity

Yup, Denis is 2-0 H2H vs. Chardy, but Chardy is playing some excellent tennis at the moment (best I can recall anyway). Would love to see a Shapo - Sinner final.

How about that Acapulco scheduling putting both Felix vs. Korda and Milos vs. Koepfer with identical 6 pm Mountain start times?

Not a great day for Canadians in Cleveland today as both Liam Draxl and Brayden Schnur lost their matches. Last Canadian standing is Alexis Galarneau who takes on the former kid wonder Donald Young.
Edit: Alexis Galarneau was victorious 7-5 7-5 over Donald Young. That's a fine win for the 22 year old Canadian.

Felix takes the opening set 6-3 over Korda
Milos drops the opening set 6-4 to Koepfer (was up a break at 4-2 and lost four straight games)

And a win for Leylah Annie Fernandez over Kucova: 6-1, 6-4. She's in the quarters at Monterray.

Milos is done in Acapulco as he loses 6-4 6-2 to Dominik Koepfer. He didn't play well yesterday and obviously that carried forward into today's match. Felix is up a break in set 2 and is one game away from advancing.

At the Cleveland Challenger Alexis Galarneau just beat Donald Young 7-5, 7-5.
Nice going for Alexis and with this win, he's now 2-0 against the one time former world #38 but now clearly done Don.

No yips today for Felix as he closes it out in fine form 6-3 6-4 over Korda. Still can raise his game a couple of levels (too many unforced errors from both guys today).

Actually, Milos isn't quite done in Acapulco as he and Felix have a doubles match coming up tonight.
