Can the Avs keep this pace up? Flames need to push in the 3rd.

I think we need more Bennett in the third.

Team had to stay in playoff gear longer than 1 of every 5 mins. Outworked 4.5 of 6 periods so far imo

Derek Brassard looks like Pamela Springsteen. And it's really unnerving.

Lindholm could use a bit less ice maybe on the PK. Give him some more fast for 5v5 and the PP. Seems like he is spread too thin across the spectrum of ice time.

Reminds me of the last regular season game against the Avs at home.... they should have won that game... but we got it in the third.

You can tell they're going all in trying to win this game. If they lose this one they're pretty much hooped. Flames need to find a timely goal or two here, and basically win the series tonight.

With the Avs lack of depth, and the Flames at home with last change, our first line should be doing some damage.

If they can just find it for this period, we’re headed to denver up 2.

Generating chances but still poor possession, IMO. They need to have the puck more and hold on to it.

They have been responsible though.

Pretty below-average performance by the Flames so far, but this game is still winnable if the guys can regroup here and put their foot on the gas.

With the way the Avs have been busting their arses tonight, they're gonna tire out in the 3rd, especially the MacKinnon line. Time for the Flames to wear them down with their depth.

Technically correct. The best kind of correct!

* the more you know *

Also, the answer as others have noted is drink now and use resourcefulness to find more drinks as required

At 5 v 5, the shot attempts are 33-15 for the Avs. The Flames have been hemmed in all night. I'm hoping for a better effort in the 3rd period, but I'm worried the Flames will be too tired from playing defence so much of the 1st and 2nd periods.

For all the Monahan criticism he also busted his ass while on the PP to help Lindholm flatten an Ave (Calvert?). Looked like it was about to be a chance in the slot as he spun off Lindholm.
