That's the point. I'm a massive Gaudreau fan, but the reality is he doesn't have much impact the second the games start getting a little physical. When you look at the big games Calgary has played in the past couple of years, Gaudreau has not shown up with much consistency. He can be effective on the PP in those physical games, but when it's 5-on-5 he disappears. If the Flames want to change the character of the team, it has to start with the best players.
