It's been kind of fun watching Kesler wince and pull sad faces on the bench this game, gotta admit.

This is what happens in 50/50 hockey. We started this period playing for OT, and have allowed the Ducks to dictate the play. The team left the aggressive play in the dressing room, like always, in favour of hoping for the guaranteed 1 point.

...sorry to those Gulutzan defenders if I'm annoying at this point. My dislike of the coach is reaching crazy new heights.

forget coaching, biggest issue for this team is the complete disappearance of the first line at even strength the last month. Monahan has been awful.

The players are to blame as well but there has been some absolutely brutal coaching decisions and our special teams are horrendous.

Flames have no comeback capability in them.

They up the intensity toward the end but they don't take risks. They play it like a tie game (full 4th line shifts late, I mean wtf) but skating the puck out with slightly more haste.

Stretch passes, and high risk/reward plays are needed when you have nothing to lose but need points.
