Are we watching the game on Sportsnet or TSN? I like it and totally different from the last few seasons.

Nope, just a national broadcast team doing a good job of calling this game.

Shots are 26-16...weird. Doesn't seem like it's been that lopsided to me.

Is Johnson not a part of the Flames regular cast?

Hockey analysis during the intermission, for the game I'm actually watching. This is a step in the right direction for SN.

I was just thinking the same thing! This whole broadcast has a VERY strong TSN vibe to it.

This broadcast presentation makes me very hopeful about watching hockey this year. A few hiccups with the blank screens but those issues seem resolved. A few sound issues seem to remain.

I would agree, however, there are some wrinkles that need to be worked out. For one, the random broadcast drops are a problem. Nothing that can't be fixed though. The quality and style of broadcast is good.

Ref cam is a gamechanger. What an awesome view.

Hats off to SN for the great production. The crowd volume is up, I can feel the energy. Ref cam is the most amazing thing ever. I guess they were saving everything to debut this season. I'm very impressed.
