Tonight was going to be a simple chicken caesar salad. Now, thanks to you, I pulled a 15oz Ribeye out of the freezer.
Hope you're proud of yourself. Go ahead, keep it up, make my day.

To lighten up the mood a bit from Shogun's derail, and get the thread a bit back on track, here's some of the legit reasons people called 911...

I ####ing hate anti-vaxxers. How are these #######s any better than drunk drivers? At least with drunk drivers, they're making a bad decision that has been influenced by an external factor. Anti-vaxxers are just a bunch of god damn narcissists. Throw 'em in jail.

I think this thread is for stories like this:
http://www.news.com.au/national/crim...9ce75805b0bf52
To summarize: A 14 month old is found dead in Melbourne and the mother states it was taken from her pram by a "black man". Eventually CCTV footage emerges disproving the mother's story and she confesses to the murder.

Not so much "I don't wanna live on this planet" but very "stupid criminal" indeed:
Guy steals a car, escapes police pursuit, goes to dump the car in a parking lot...of a police station. Video in link.

According to a post on the Calgary Police Service Facebook site, a Chevrolet Blazer was taken from the 3900 Block of Manchester Road S.E. after the owner left the keys in the ignition of the running vehicle.
Officers on patrol in the area quickly spotted the vehicle, as the suspect drove away at high speed.
A description of the car was broadcast to all District 1 officers — some of whom were busy doing paperwork and preparing to start their shift at the district office.
Moments later, the vehicle showed up on their doorstep, and the suspect didn’t make it far before he was nabbed by several sprinting police officers.

"Flight delayed after passenger becomes suspicious of equation"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-36240523
"An Italian economist says his flight was delayed after a fellow passenger saw him working on a differential equation and alerted the cabin crew."
"The University of Pennsylvania associate professor boarded the Philadelphia-Syracuse flight on Thursday on his way to Ontario, where he was due to give a lecture.
Before the flight took off, the woman sitting next to him passed a note to a member of the cabin crew.
She initially told them she was feeling unwell but then voiced her suspicions about Mr Menzio's scribblings."
My first sentiment is, 'Please don't let that paranoid passenger have been a Canadian. '

While the story itself is repulsive, the comments at the bottom of this article are why I sometimes really don't want to live on this planet anymore. Sun News Network comments have nothin' on Fox News comments.

I thought they said the woman was mentally ill.
edit: Hah, in the article I read it said that the woman indicated she was ill, I assumed mentally because of how stupid this was, but it turns out that was her excuse to get alone time with the crew.

As for comments, I was applauding CBC's initial decision to only allow real names for its comment section. I don't know where that lead. I, for one hope that I have never come across as a jerk to anybody or said anything too stupid, but I would probably take things more into consideration before posting if my name were associated with them. But then again, people do idiotic stuff on live tv, so maybe removing anonymity isn't the panacea some think it is.

Ugh. I'm listening to Howard Stern this morning and he plays this rap video made by a woman from "Alberta, Canada". I hate it when we get mentioned in the US and it's for crap like this;
