2013 NCAA football thread

It is truly unfortunate that there isn't a playoff this year to determine who the best team really is.

Given Duke's performance against A&M, Michigan State's performance against Stanford, Baylor's performance against UCF, and Oklahoma's against Alabama, and the games to come, it would be nice to know, for example, if the UCF game was a fluke, whether the Big10 is decent, or if the SEC just has a great marketing and propaganda team.

First year really following college ball. LOVE IT. I wish the bowl format was different would have absolutely loved to see michigan st play FSU best offense vs best defence would have been so much fun.

Stopped watching NFL several years ago -- enjoy college ball much more. And it stays fresh every year -- new freshmen, graduating seniors and juniors (and sophomores), new hype, old traditions, etc.

Great game last night and always nice to see Urban Meyer lose.

The crowd was a bit weird though. Clemson was severely outnumber (probably around 70% Ohio State fans) but provided most of the noise. I'm not sure what Ohio States fans are like in Columbus but they super quiet last night and the ones in my section were more concerned with the fact that Drake was in the box above us then the game itself.

I don't do team SEC, I cant root for Tennessee or UGA...

Florida State has bigger and faster receivers. Why aren't they keeping 6 or 7 guys in even and throwing the ball deep? Winston looks awful right now.

I'd imagine now Florida State will actually start defending the pass too. Poor coaching so far for FSU and Gus is a genius. He`s gone the NFL sooner than later.

Florida State needs to get to halftime no worse than 17-3 down. Jameis is a mess right now, looks like Troy Smith did a few years ago.
