Just got tickets about 2 days ago and they were very limited. Had to settle for high up, end seats. Should be a great atmosphere, I've been wanting to see the upper section open for a soccer match for some time.

Props to everyone going to the game... Thought of making the trip to Vancouver for it but it didn't work out... I'm not a huge soccer fan, but they hype for this game is huge and the updates provided in this thread by Shermanator and others have really helped me grow excited for Canadian soccer

The El Salvador-Honduras game starts an hour before the Canada game so keep an eye on that. Any non-Honduras win would be great. This is a tough group and any road points are a bonus. Mexico winning in Honduras 2-0 was huge for us

Glad I can help. If you're looking to watch the game with a bunch of local Canadian soccer nuts, we'll be at Barcelona Tavern tomorrow at 8.
And it looks like BC Place is 1000 short of a sellout. Hopefully the crowd is more Canada than Mexico. https://twitter.com/CanadaSoccerEN/s...66461464551424

Would love to have gone to Van or join you guys tonight to cheer them on, but unfortunately medical issues got in the way. Even if we could take a point away from this, it'll all be worth it. Haven't been this excited for a while. For all the V's in attendance, bring it!

Yeah this is huge. Someone claimed the biggest crowd for a Canadian national team ever. Starting 11 up on the CSA twitter (don't know how to embed tweets). No Arfield.

The last time I can remember a Canadian team beating Mexico was at the Kennedy Cup.
