The biggest reason the 49ers are going to win and probably easily is that they will manhandle the Falcons in the trenches. The 49ers lines are going to dominate the average Atlanta lines, making it very difficult to run or have time to let the receivers work down the field. Like moon said unless Kaepernick makes a bunch of mistakes the 49ers should win. I expect them to open as a 2 or 3 point road favorite.

^^^ According to a few sources on Twitter, the 49ers are currently 3 point favourites to win.

Agreed for the most part. Seattle moved the ball well all game on the Falcons defense, even in the first half, but the Lynch fumble, the 4and 1 lost gamble within easy FG range, and the last seconds again in FG range where Wilson took a sack, resulted in no points when it should've been anywhere from 6-21 points depending.

And then of course the dominance was evident in the second half, Miller with a career game with 142 yards, and Tate over 100...and all this with Wilson not doing the zone read run...sure he ran, but no scripted and defined zone read runs, which was odd given its a staple of Wilson's.

Kaepernick does the same zone reads as Wilson does, and is faster. I am guessing they use it more then Wilson, especially if Abraham on the edge is still out or basically rendered useless as he was early today, and not much else impressed me about Atlanta's defense, and they gave up close to 500 yards combined today.

If it wasn't clear before, today showed again that its not a matter of IF Ryan is going to make stupid plays in a big game, its just when and how many.

That said, always a chance for Kaepernick to mess up and turn it over, and Atlanta to feel that they got the monkey off the back/mulligan this week, and can go into next week a bit looser...but there was nothing that impressed me about ATL's defense today, Seattle shot themselves in the foot in the first half, and ran over the Falcons in the second and I think the 49ers should be ok as long as they don't beat themselves.

This is just going to be how this game is going to go, longer drives (in comparison to that last game), alternating FG's and TD's, probably never close.

Texans really needed to punch that good kickoff return in for a TD. Not good enough to beat them without cashing in some chances.

Don't forget Seattle man handled and destroyed SF a few weeks ago. For Atlanta to not look great against Seattle isn't anything against Atlanta, just showing how good Seattle is.

While SF looked great against GB, GB isn't a good team. Atlanta at home will give them a game

Well the Texans got some points to end the half....might prove useful later in the game.

Atlanta charges down the field with 30 seconds left to win the game.

Denver takes a knee

Ya I realize that, just pointing out how stupid it was to take a knee.

A lot can be accomplished in 30 seconds- just ask my girlfriend.

Agreed. I don't know if Schaub just didnt see him or thought he could get it over top. Regardless, that's a pretty easy pick.

PS - I would argue Peyton's OT pick was the dumbest throwing decision thus far... especially when you consider the circumstances.

Simms quality indepth analysis of the interception.
"I think you'll see the linebacker drop into coverage and I don't think Schaub sees him". Almost as enlightening as "blitzes usually put pressure on the qb" which I heard earlier.

This game is done.

Im not trying to be a homer here (even though i pretty much am) but there have been some pretty bad calls against the pats this game

Lloyd unsportsmanlike
foster Td (i dont think it crossed)
The fumble reverse (forward progress BS)
and now the spot of that 4th down.

Just brutal so far.

Please tell me if this is just blatant homerism can i get a neutral opinion?
