Yeah. Yeah he did.
No scratches on him but on his knuckles, lacerations in the back of Zimmerman's head, Zimmerman with a broken nose, witnesses saying Martin had Zimmerman on the ground punching his face, one calling it MMA style.
All of those things have been submitted as evidence.
It's a reasonable conclusion that Martin was the aggressor.
I think you're missing the difference between a reasonable conclusion and an absolute finding of fact.
Based on the evidence Martin could have been the aggressor. Otherwise why was Martin unscathed until he was shot?
I'm not defending Zimmerman, nor do I think Captain Crunch is. We are defending the verdict of the trial based on how the trial was run.
People can't fathom the not-guilty finding when really it was the only reasonable conclusion based on how the system works.

In thinking about it...I actually have to say "late 30's" now, though just barely. Guh, maybe I am getting old.

In fact it appears he asked questions first and then shot.

Or Neighbourhood watch captain beaten to death by local team.
A volunteer watch Captain was killed last night by a local teen after the young teen confronted the man after being followed through a neighborhood in the early hours of the morning.
Witness described a scene where the 17 year old 6'1 180 pound accused was seen straddling the victim, raining blows on his race and repeatedly driving his head into the concrete."
It could have gone either way.

People cant seem to get it that Trayvon wasn't some innocent kid that they believe he is. So to fix this they try to twist it around to find some sort of way for this to make sense to them.

Actually, according to Martin's girlfriend, it was Martin who appeared to ask the first question of: "Why you following me man?" per her testimony of what she overheard on an open phone line.
Zimmerman also says he never asked Martin a question, only answered a second Martin question of: "You got a problem with me?"
Zimmerman says he was then punched in the face and knocked down.

I suppose I wasn't clear. I meant that he was asking the questions of "who is this, are they dangerous, should I call it in" etc
I actually didn't see the conversation in the quick reading I've done.
However, that seems to allude to Martin being the aggressor.
Again, I'm just explaining why the acquittal was correct given the evidence in question, not what actually happened.

I'm curious (I legitimately don't know the answer) was the gun concealed? Was Martin aware of the gun before he was shot?
I'd think not as if he was giving Zimmerman head shots rather than go after the gun.
Can you be a gun toting threat if the gun is concealed and others don't know you have it?

While I obviously understand your view on guns, and I'm not even that far off (I don't think Zimmerman should have had a gun). But at what point do you think he gave up his right to defend himself?
Forfeiting your right to protect your life because you looked at someone funny and he took issue to it because of your race (creepy ass cracker) is far less of a slippery slope argument than the "now I can just start a fight and blow someones head off and claim self defense" others are spewing had the verdict gone the other way.

You're right, a person from a neighbourhood watch following someone is definitely a confrontation. The only response to such heinous behaviour is to start throwing punches.
Damn, it's so easy to oversimplify things isn't it!

a gun toting all american noticed a suspicious person in his neighborhood. This suspicious person happened to be kicked out of school in miami for drugs, and fighting. Which in his locker he had tools commonly used for breaking into houses...
So if they saying "if he didn't have a gun, Martin wouldn't of been killed" can be used the saying "if the punk wasn't kicked out of school in Miami this wouldn't had happened"
If you watched the trial it has came out that Zimmerman lost Martin, while walking back to his car Martin suckerpunched him then mounted him. But some say that the injuries weren't that bad. Well yes, you're correct but we don't know how far martin was going. If I've got someone on top of me punching me I'm not going to just lay there and let him while not knowing what he is going to do.
But I know, America sucks... carry on
