If I am understanding that link though, I should tip the guy who sits me down, the girl who pours our drinks all night and the security guy who takes girls to the washroom??? Seems overboard and I have only ever given the girl who is in charge of drinks assuming its like other industries and split at the end of the night.

I only tip the security guy if it's just a group of single/singlish guys. If you talk with them they can be on the lookout for some girls for ya. When it's just a mixed group of guys/gals I don't tip them.

I just booked a package using Bookit.com, 4 people (2 couples), 2 rooms at the ARIA + flights for July 18 - 22 and it was just over $600/person.
We are thinking about doing a Grand Canyon trip, is it better to get a rental car and do your own thing, or should we get a guided bus tour?

It'll be a long day driving yourself so if you book a tour you can relax and sleep on the way there (you won't miss anything) and home, something to consider. But obvouisly paying for 4 people is more then splitting the cost of a rental in half. And it is going to be over 100 degrees, something else to consider.

perhaps this has alread been mentioned; however, if you are shopping, check the stores in your hotel to see if you get a discount.
bought a pair of oakley sunglasses at ceasers place shops, then found the same glasses for the same price at a shop in the monte carlo - except I would ahve been given a $50 discount.....doh!!!
Was going to return the glasses to the fourum shop, but the bill said no refunds/exchanges - doh!!!!
Could have also went to the Oakley Outlet store, but we were not shopping at that mall on this trip.

Got back last Friday and had a great time. We went and saw the Blue Man Group, it was a great show. I believe it was the North Outlet mall we went to also, it was pretty cool, but I cabbed it back early, lol, only so much walking around I can do at an outlet mall on my last day in Las Vegas.
Booked my hotel for June last night, staying at the Luxor.

We are leaving later today for Great Falls and flying out tomorrow morning. With the package we were looking at, it was 1700 bucks cheaper this way for 3 of us (allegiant air has eally good deals)....includes 3 seats on the plane and 2 rooms at the newly renovated Flamingo. We are going for a wedding that is taking place at Caesars which we looked at staying at, but it would have been almost 2000 bucks more for 7 nights for 2 rooms.
Also just looked at the forecast for the next week...everyday 100 F or hotter and nothing cooler than 72 overnight.
I will be spending a LOT of time at the MGM sportsbook and IN the pool apparently.

If you are into the club scene, what will soon be Vegas' hottest club just opened. Dreis - simply incredible and a firework menu.
Haakasen is brutally overrated
If you have a cabana/daybed, Rehab is my favorite pool party (over Wet Republik & Encore day club) simply for the sand & beach feel.
Pure is always a great time and has great rates for tables upstairs however I believe they closed (renos maybe?) last week.

Yeah, I went and checked out the Linq. It's pretty cool actually. They've actually created this whole side street with a bunch of different shops, bars, etc. It was really nice when I was there. The Brooklyn Bowl was a cool little venue, too, but I was also fairly liquored by that point.

There's this amazing little side bar at the Linq that does fresh fruit smoothies with booze in them and freshly squeezed mimosas. Amazing hangover fuel. Forget the name of it, but it is right beside Margaritaville.
I was pretty disappointed with the new O'Sheas. Just not the same.

I've had luck doing this at Bellagio and Venetian. I've had friends that had it work for Vdara. I'm sure Excalibur will be the same.
2 more weeks till I go to Vegas for EDC! Can't wait!

I've had luck at Cosmo and TI. Upgraded rooms and coupons for buffets from both.
I tried it at Aria in December with no luck at all. The clerk wouldn't even touch the $ and went so far as to place it back onto the counter, telling me they were not allowed to do anything like that.

1500 loyatly points on myvegas slots will get you $50/night at the mirage which is next door but much nicer. Flights are not bad, maybe $350, watch for seat sales.

Is the resort fee included with this? I highly doubt it so be prepared for another $20 or so per night.
Just got back yesterday. The Linq project is really nice and the pub The Twisted Kilt has the best looking servers of anywhere. The whole area wasn't busy though, not sure how the High Roller is doing. O'Sheas could just be any pub now.
The Cromwell overall didn't seem much different, however the drink service for the players was great and it smelled like hot dogs in there. They have a pool on the roof, I kinda think Drais has moved up there to??? Never bothered to go up there but it seemed like it was now a pool club by day and dance club by night.
The Outlet malls have really run their course. Overall it didn't seem a busy this time as the last few trips. Traffic, malls, casino, and even the airport all felt less hectic.
