Yeah, to me Rantanen has taken over for Barkov as most under-rated player in the league.

Are you seriously throwing your Vezina goalie under the bus?

The Jets were the 2nd best team in the series, and there is no shame in it, because every team would have been the 2nd best team in that series.

When COL is on their game, no one can touch them. And they brought their A game.

Same situation as Flames fans and Markstrom.

Man, what is with Helle?

How can you have such a contrast between regular and post season performance? Colorado generated a boat load of chances so some are bound to find their way in regardless of who's in net, but it's still baffling.

Yeah agreed. Everyone is performing a post mortem on the Jets focused around some kind of massive playoff failure. Meanwhile, what I feel I saw was a team that may roll right through everyone and grab another Cup.

I think time might be coming soon for the Jets to shake up their core. It's been the same guys for a few years not getting the job done. Reminds me a lot of the Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Monahan, Giordano, Backlund core.

Georgiev pretty much only needs to be a .900 goalie for that to happen.

And it looks like he's actually poised to do better than that.

Mittlestadt was a great add and fixed their issue up the middle after losing Nazem. The western conference is ####ed.

Let's see how they go against either Dallas or Vegas before proclaiming them as Cup winners again.

Yeah Colorado still has a tough path and don't think they are a lock.

Colorado was good, but also think the Jets as a team and not just Hellebuyck were terrible defensively.

I still think it was a Jets team that overachieved this year and when the Avs had the ability to game plan for them specifically they were able to uncover the weaknesses in their defense.

That d-core on paper isn't very good even though they had a great season, and the Avs exposed that.

As long as Bowness is still the head coach it is a real possibility. He's not a fan of this type of player. He's not a fan of Perfetti either.

Is he? He did well on Dallas before going to Winnipeg and then coached the Jets to a good season. I can't remember for sure the reason he left Dallas but I vaguely recall it was his own decision to do that.

He coaches like it's the 90s. There's a reason why the Lightning dumped him after losing in he Eastern Conference Final, or Dallas after making the finals. He's an old fossil, makes 0 adjustments and punishes the young players.

Yes. He is. I think the players play hard for him because he's a great dude as far as the modern game goes he really is clueless

I think if they listened to him, the series would have been closer. I have no idea why their players were trying to play run and gun style against the fast Avs.

It reminds me of when the Flames tried to do the same against McDavid and Sutter was losing his mind how loose we were playing.
