Edmonton media is sycophantic to the Oilers. Drai appears to hate the media, and, be a jerk, because he is a jerk. It's not a mystery. He's a pampered #######.

I want him to sign with the New York Rangers.
Just the Post-Game interviews would be worth it all by themselves.
I mean, this guy gets pissed because the Edmonton media is lobbing him softballs? This isnt a hard question, you could have said ANYTHING and they'd be slobbering all over you.
Ship him to Philly so they can throw batteries at him.

I'm imagining Iginla answering the same question with a happy chuckle and smile on his face, noting his good fortune against the other team and then trying to be humble about it. He'd give every question his time, even if it had been asked a billion times.
If ever there was a player who was the complete opposite off the ice compared to Iginla, it's probably Crysaitl.

It was a softball question from the Oilers media meant to make him look good and pump his tires, but he gets all triggered and acts like a Richard about it. What a miserable guy to talk to.

Nah.
I'd rather McDavid leaves and he stay in Edmonton for perpetuity.
His PP numbers dwindle, the team bottoms out for years & he continues to get annoyed by their media for the rest of his career.
