I think last night's game is further testament to who the regular season MVP should be, and that's Cal. He controlled the game in a way that Judge could never. He was the one that helped Miller weather the storm after an atrocious 1st inning he had. It was masterful, and unlike anything I've seen in a while from a catcher. I wanted the Tigers so bad because of this.

New game, new results. Let's at least make it a tied series going back to Seattle. I am confident we will be able to. Just need to get the bats alive.

Just getting 6 innings from Yasavage will be great. If he gets 5 strikeouts, great. Less pressure last game 2 thanks to the big game 1 vs the Yanks, but this one is massive with the next 3 in Seattle and of course the low key expectation he will be as good as, or as close to as good as, his last game.
He doesn’t need to be, just needs a quality major league start.

It was starting to look like I was going to miss atleast the start of the game. The power went out last night at 3 a.m. because of a snowstorm and it didn't come back on until about 10 minutes ago.

This is where having depth really matters. Schneider is an excellent last minute replacement, not many teams have that luxury

Yasavage completely rattled after thinking he had that strike out on the terrible call. Now he's second guessing his locations because of it. He didn't need this.

Yasavage nervous and rattled. Down by 3 already, and facing a very hard opposing pitcher, with the Jays going silent at ths plate yesterday. This series is suddenly stacked right the **** against the Blue Jays in a hurry.
