Vegas - 6.8 million under (including LTIR) with 4 players to sign
Wild - 1.9 million under with 3 players to sign
Nashville - 4.3 million under with 4 players to sign
Ottawa - 4.4 million under with 5 players to sign
Pens - 5.3 million under (including LtIR) with 6 players to sign
Islanders - 4.5 million under with 4 players to sign
Colorado - 7.9 million under with 9 players to sign.

I hope Craig is able to help out some of those teams in the upcoming days.

We need a centre, and maybe we send out a Pelletier? Someone a team can take on a cheap contract and then waive/lose them. That would be an almost pure cap dump. And sweeteners coming back would depend on contract length of the player we acquire.

They absolutely should be in the trade market weaponizing cap space.

He was pretty clear there wasn’t going to be anything more than 2-3 years which makes sense for the team right now. Seeing some of the deals there will be regret in a couple years

Agreed....but they can also afford to wait as long as needed to get a short term and/or bargain deal.
