God damn tragedy. These are the hardest times we're living through. I can't fathom living in worse conditions than this. It's basically rock bottom.

Well it does feel like the summer that we never had in many ways. At least to me. We had a few more things than usual going on and they seemed to coincide with the very few nice weekends we actually had. End result is it feels like I never had any really nice weather weekends to enjoy.

There was a stretch of mid-OK weather but idk I enjoyed plenty of warm weekends and weeknights outdoors the last few months. Really the weather has been good to great on average since the start of spring.

And, you know, it’s still summer. No reason to talk about it in the past tense. Looks like great weather this weekend.

The rain in July was needed. Not that many smoky days in CNP this summer. Good summer overall.

Rain is fine, but only on weekdays and only through October.
No snow until after Halloween, then it can snow as much as it wants until March. Weekend snow is permissible.

My client who came in an hour ago just got his Air Conditioner delivered and installed today and as such he claims and acknowledges full responsibility.

Anyone else keeping an eye on Hurricane Melissa as it closes in on Jamaica? The readings from one of the US Air Force planes this morning were pretty crazy, it showed the this storm has the lowest pressure of any Atlantic hurricane in recorded history (stronger than Katrina), which apparently means it'll take longer to lose its strength. Likely to make landfall within the next hour.

Ya, it's scary strong. I was in Jamaica for Hurricane Sandy, and it was only a Cat 1, and that was more than enough for me. They must be terrified. It was revealing watching the locals preparing, they were down to business, but also had a look of terror as they strapped everything down. No joking around. Just get it done, get home to their families. Hope they stay safe this time.

I'm keeping an eye on it as we are down in the Bahamas. The ocean has been rough and it is unsafe to go in the water. Some beaches have been closed. It is much more windy than normal but we haven't had any real rainstorms yet just a couple quick showers for a few minutes.
