How out of touch do you have to be to blame the salary cap for your team's problems - especially when you are talking about a Canadian team. With no salary cap, neither Draisaitl nor McDavid, would still be an Oiler.

I am still not quite sure I understand the sweatpants part of the joke. I love sweatpants and wear them daily, right next to the 20 flames jerseys hanging up in the closet. Can someone please help me understand?

LOcal DJ bit, where he imiated Steve Armitage using a single word or short phrase to describe Edmonton. Words/phrases such as "urine" or "women with bruises on their legs". One phrase was "sweatpants with good shoes".
However, I always thought Mike Richards was talking about women wearing sweatpants and nice pumps.

In the final 30 seconds or so, the Oilers came up the ice and the D-man passed it to McDavid, but he was so bagged that he just shoveled it to the winger and coasted into the zone. Just incredibly selfish to stay on when he can't even function.
