Just looked it up...The first decade (71-80) I watched the Pack...they went a cumulative 56-84-5. ouch.
Lots of Lynn Dickey?

in 1992 my family went down to Kansas City for Christmas at my Aunt and Uncle's place. We all went to the Chiefs vs Broncos game on December 28, winner goes to the playoffs. The atmosphere in Arrowhead Stadium was absolutely amazing. From the tailgate before the game, to the roar of the crowd during the game. I was hooked right then and there. If memory serves the Chiefs defense scored three touchdowns that day, the most memorable being Derrick Thomas sacking John Elway in the end zone forcing a fumble that was recovered for a Kansas City Chiefs touchdown.

Since that day the Chiefs have become an obsession. I have been back to Arrowhead 5 more times and have traveled to Seattle and Oakland (puke) to watch the Chiefs.
Not to marginalize your experience or anything, but I'm pretty sure that day sucked ass.

Just sayin'.

Well since we are venting on the woes of our NFL teams I thought I'd join in.

I'm a Jets fan! Yes we have our one Legendary Superbowl but past 1968 there really has been nothing to cheer about expect for 2004.

He did it on the day Goodell was coming to town?

Wow, I'm not sure there are too many worse times Jones could have picked to get into a fight.

Jerry Jones said he specifically informed Adam Jones he had lost most of his benefit of the doubt and underscored the privilege of playing in the NFL and wearing the Cowboys uniform.
If that is the case, then "Pacman" should be gone.

The police finally indicted someone in the Darrent Williams murder:
Quote:
A 25-year-old man was indicted Wednesday on first-degree murder charges in the drive-by shooting death of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams on New Year's Day 2007.

Willie D. Clark faces 39 counts, including murder, attempted murder, assault, crimes of violence and a weapons violation, Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey said.

Clark is in federal custody in a separate case. He was long considered a "person of interest" in Williams' slaying but is the first suspect to be indicted.

I'm sure you were not impressed. I still remember John Elway standing on the sideline in the 4th quarter after being benched (he was directly in front of us, we were on the 28th row) I was just in awe that a guy like him could get benched.

It can turn around. As a Cowboys fan for forever and a day I can't even count the number of big games there were between them and the 49ers. And Dallas went from the penthouse to the outhouse and back again. Plus the Cowboys have a pretty out there owner as well. Keep the faith.

This guy has been in jail since a week or so after the shooting, and he's been the main suspect since day 1. They've obviously been very careful in building their case and I would suspect it's a slam dunk.

It will be nice to get some closure on this for Williams' family and the Broncos.

I'm quite sure the situation came into play during last season.

I first became interesed in the Eagles around 1995 or so I think. For some reason I was a huge fan of Ricky Watters when I was a little kid and he signed with them that year. Can't say I was a big fan because I was really only a casual NFL fan at the time. I still really liked the CFL back then.

In the summer of 2001 I was in Philadelphia doing some charity work and the Eagles organization was awesome to me. They put me up in the mayor's box for a preseason game against the Jets and I got to go down to the sidelines and meet Donovan McNabb, Corey Simon and Harold Carmichael. Been a hardcore fan ever since.

Anyone ever been to the States to see an NFL Game? I highly recommend it! Their stadiums alone are unbelievable.

I've been to games at:

Arrowhead Stadium
Jack Murphy Stadium (now Qualcom)-Twice
LA Coliseum (one too many times)
Mile High Stadium

Just a note...there are quite a few posters from the US here.

I'm going to Qwest Field in Seattle in about 3 weeks and then LP Field in Nashville a few weeks after that. I'm pretty stoked about this. I've never been to a regular season NFL game and now I get to go to two this year. I saw the Eagles play the Jets at the ol' Vet in a preseason game but that's about it.
