Rightly or wrongly, I chose Cincy.
Cincinnati does not have a good offensive line.

You likely should see what Pro football focus says. It's not just line play but also scheme that helps backs produce.

Good offensive lines and schemes can allow almost any competent back to be productive. I'm not so sure if the 49'ers line outside of Trent Williams is great or the Saints line. But both teams have superior schemes in their running game that permits any back to be productive.

Yeah, that's a great point. I'm not a fan of Cincy's run scheme so far. I'm kind of a Tikki Barber, but they just want me to Ron Dane it right up the middle all the time. Like allll the time. I have to dig deep to find anything on the outside, and it's usually some variant of a fake sweep.

Maybe Tua has a trajectory like Crosby after his brutal concussions.

I wonder if the Rams move Stafford. Their season is pretty much over with Kupp, Nacua and essentially the entire O Line out.

The next 5 or 6 games I think will determine whether they shut the whole team down.
Even with a depleted roster they have some winnable games (CHI, GB, NE, SEA, MIA, MIN, LV) If they can hit 4 or 5 of those then I can see them making a late push for a wildcard spot in a pretty dismal NFC

Raiders would make sense if they're in a playoff position by then. Not sure how that would affect the team dynamic though if Minshew has them in that spot.

The other contenting teams that make sense are the Dolphins, Vikings, and Steelers. Dolphins definitely don't have the cap space. Steelers are unlikely to want to move picks. Would the Giants take a swing if Daboll and Schoen think it'll save their jobs?

$54 million cap next season + the Rams likely holding out for a premium (likely at least one first and maybe a roster player) makes it hard to imagine a trade. And yeah, the NFC sucks and the Rams have a pretty easy upcoming schedule. Next year makes more sense to trade him for the Rams.

It was more to protect Stafford's value, he's gonna get hit a lot.

Patriots are playing Brisset over May because they know their line is awful. Let the vet take the huts until the rook learns more and they can try snd coach more outbof this line.

I know it is irrelevant in terms of outcome but the kid gets the ball into the redzone on his first drive with 30 seconds to go it probably makes sense to use your timeouts and give him a chance of getting his first TD.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr has been fined for his Week 2 touchdown celebration that imitated Michael Jackson, a source told ESPN.

Carr snuck the ball in from the 1-yard line for a touchdown in the third quarter of the Saints' 44-19 win against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. He then did a dance move made famous by Jackson that involved grabbing at his crotch.

"People don't know a lot of stuff about me. ... Weddings or birthdays, I'm always dancing," Carr said after the game. "One time I hit the Michael Jackson and [my brothers] were like, 'Bro, you have to do that if you score.'"
Likely gonna cost him 14K or so when all said and done.

Worth every penny when making 25 million a year......good for him.

You would have thought they would go for the TD simply because net points in common games is part of the tiebreaker system. I realize that the Pats aren't going to make the playoffs but as a head coach you have to play to every scenario.
