If the Habs score first in game 5 it's going to be a series again as when they score first they win the game.

funny how a little play like a stick lift can change the outcome of a game.

i thought tampa was a little too passive on the opening PP - or perhaps it was montreal who would not allow them to get going.

Well except when Perry got flared open right?

No, that was another easy call to make. Which is why everyone in the hockey world thought was a complete joke.

It's not lame, there's nothing wrong with winning it on the road. The Penguins and their fans sure don't mind as all 5 five of their Stanley Cups have been won on the road. There's something about sticking a knife into the home crowd as they see their team go down to defeat.

Jay Random said it right. That was sweet revenge to the Habs after they won it in Calgary 3 years earlier. It is awesome to see the youtube videos that POS Lemieux realizing that the Habs lost on home ice and his cheap shots didn't work on the Flames the 2nd time.

The MO for the canadiens in these playoffs is to win a desperate game that they had no business winning and then gaining momentum from it. It usually leads to the team playing their best game following that win.

The odds are obviously against Montreal

If I was Ducharme, the team meeting would include the video from the Tampa mayor. Good bulletin board material there

Habs just prolonging the inevitable. It'll end in Tampa Bay once the storm settles.

If the Habs win game 5, will the mayor request Tampa throw another game in Mtl to have a home celebration for game 7?

That was some bad mojo right there.

If there is some extra motivation required for playing in a SC final game then the players have head problems.

You are saying that some players are coasting along saving themselves for golf season and not focused on their next shift?

That some Mayor whose name no one on either team would likely know, who knows nothing about hockey outside the business and taxes it generates, makes a statement expecting his home team to win?

That is like saying the Habs should bench Perry as Tampa players are strongly motivated to beat him.

It’s also so dumb… one freak injury to Vaselevski and we have a series.

No idea what that has to do with the penalty call at the end of the game.

Perry could arrange that by ‘accidentally’ falling on Vasilevskiy.

If you ask Alexa who will in the Stanley Cup, she will say she is cheering for Tampa Bay because she "wants lightning to strike twice"

Interested to see if they can pull more magic out of their ass.

Wonder if a hab will hurl up blood at Vasilevskiy and curse him.

The Stanley Cup is coming out of storage tonight, I think Tampa is absolutely going to steamroll Montreal at home
