Ducks not giving too much space and closing the gaps quickly. Flames stick with the gameplan and we win this game still.

Yup, this team is so fun to watch this year. We're down by a goal, but it always feels like we can come back and pull out the victory. Overall this has been another solid effort tonight, save for an ugly 1st period by Smith.

And Backlund needs to get himself a shooter tutor for next practice. Missing a gaping open net like that should be unacceptable if you're an NHL'er.

I don't feel that a victory is in the future tonight, it's the Ponda Curse's last gasp before finally being dissipated next game.

The Flames are playing well though, just losing the goalie battle. Everyone apart from Getzlaf has been neutralized so far.
