I had a feeling yesterday that this would be a slow draft trade-wise. I may be a nerd on this front, but I look forward to the draft for the draftees and the potential, the backstories and the "reality TV" of what for many people will be the highlight of their hockey careers after 18+ years of work. Do trades make it exciting? Absolutely! However, I think the media has done a terrible job of overhyping the trade portion of this.

Just to add...its a week away until FA.
After the first couple days, things may open up as teams alter their rosters and realize that they have to make room for guys in their system that will be pushing for spots,
Lots and lots of time for BT to make a deal before next season and alter the forwards here.
