Dropping by out of curiosity (I haven't watched since the end of season 5). Are they reaching a conclusion? Have they discovered a vaccine or anything that prevents people from turning into Walkers after they die? I lost interest because nothing was being resolved, and it just seemed to be the same thing over and over.

Here's a quick re-cap for you.
- Coral became more and more disenchanted with the world, and eventually turned into a cannibal himself. He vanished into the woods last season, but it is suspected he is still alive
- Glenn and Maggie had a baby - but it was born a zombie. So there's that.
- Turns out there is a cure, but the group has to travel to Hawaii somehow, where the vaccine has been developed. So right now a big focus of the series is how do they get there.
- Turns out animals can also turn into zombies, as there are packs of dogs now hunting humans. The dogs are pretty much the main villains of the show now. They are led by a massive St. Bernard that the group has labeled "Big Bernie".
- The following characters are dead: Darryl, Abraham, Steve, and Glenn (not that Glenn, the other Glenn)
Crazy series.

They're not even 2/3 caught up to the comics.

You know the zombie dog angle is something I kind of wished was in the show as I hated those things in Resident Evil.

I know! Always slobbering everywhere! Whats up with that?
Not to mention that a barbed-wire dog-collar is just ridiculous. Just ridiculous!

Once Zombie Dug figures out a way to get out of the cone of shame I think he'll probably lead a revolt to overthrow overthrow Bernie and become the new alpha.

I think the biggest easter egg in last episode was showing the zombie mosquito. yes, it moved slower than normal mosquitos, but if that thing reproduces.....

They introduced another group that hates the Saviors, and that has weapons.
More numbers for the fight, just need to bring them all together at some point.
I dunno, not the greatest episode but not the worst. Some folks complain too much me thinks. If ya don't like the show, why watch it?
Don't answer that. Rhetorical.

AMC did the same thing with the later seasons of Mad Men to keep the budget down. I believe Jon Hamm was the only actor who appeared in every episode of Mad Men. Every season, there was one or two episodes that Christina Hendricks didn't appear in. To make up for that, there would also be one or two episodes that had a prominent storyline for Joan.

Well this must have been a cheap episode. All the "B" cast.

That seemed to drag on and it's interesting that there is another group that has issues with Negan. So now we have 4 groups that hate the Saviors, the question now should be how do they get them all together?

I'm a huge fan and try to always find the positives, but a whole 'Tara' episode? Come on...
I know she found a whole new 'colony' (for lack of a better term) and its going to develop into something, probably culminating in a united attack against Negan, but this seems like stalling and filler.
In no Universe does Tara warrant her own episode.
