I don't think so. The Wild are a tough team to play against.

What goal? On Altitude they probably called it an icing and then just cut to a rerun of Wings like there wasn't even a game on.

Since April 22, 2003. The last time the Wild beat the Avs in game 7 OT.

Glad Minny won. I'll be pulling for the Habs and Wild as the underdog stories this year. BUt will be pulling for the Kings to make it out of the West. I like the way L.A plays and I'm a fan of Carter, Richards and Doughty.

It's a 2 on 1! Duchene is railroading back on the Backcheck! Score.

Glad that the tank job is out. Pissed that Matt Cooke lives on to injure another player.

Does this mean that Colorado's second (ours) is now the 22nd pick (52 overall)? Basically the lowest pick of the teams elimated in the 1st round of the playoffs?

Oh right, Colorado being out is good for our pick as well. What a nice little bonus.

Man, this really pisses me off that. I !@#$ing hate that Matt Cooke gets away with it again, and that his !@#$%^&* antics was a big swinging point in the series.
Loser garbage on the ice took out the Avs #2 d-man and likely hurt the kids entire career.

Actually, it would probably be:
And a right by Roy, and a right by Roy, and another right, and another right, and another right, and another right score and an uppercut by Roy!

The refs should have called Talbot for a dive. Obviously he knew it was a dive because he was standing right next to Talbot and Stoner and didn't call a penalty on Stoner.
He even shook his head at Talbot.

no the Colorado pick will be 54th, 55th or 56th depending on whether Boston and/or Anaheim make it to the conference finals.
Quote:
Draft Order
The 14 teams that missed the playoffs during the previous NHL season are awarded the first 14 picks. They draft in order of fewest points to most points, subject to the results of the draft lottery.
The current Stanley Cup champion picks last (30th).
The Stanley Cup runner-up picks 29th.
The other two Conference Finalists pick 28th and 27th.
Regular-season division winners hold the other lowest positions.
Remaining teams draft in order of fewest points to most points from the previous regular season.

No, only the final four get moved in draft position. For the best possible draft spot you'd hope for Anaheim and Boston to be eliminated in this next round.

"Teams eliminated in the first two rounds of the playoffs will have their draft position determined based on their regular season points totals from lowest to highest."

What was going through Talbot's mind at that point? He doesn't strike me as a Canucks tier diver.
