Damn, Cow took, word for word, what I was going to say!

I'm enjoying the sub plot of the crickity old ship having to use some living cylon technology to get patched up.

So any more speculation on who Daniel could be?

Gaeta had a pretty good singing voice. It wouldn't surprise me to learn Zarek's amniotic fluid was a little wonky. Perhaps the contamination made he a she... and produced Starbuck.

I am definitely going to miss this show.

.
Some are speculating "Daniel" is Daniel Graystone, one of the key figures in the upcoming Caprica series set 40 years in the past.

Below is a good interview with the writer of "Blood On The Scales" episode from two weeks ago.

I believe the point Ellen was trying to make was that Cavil is sadistic. He
revels in the pain of others, is controlling, and he loves doing it.
Lobotomizing the metal cylons was a prelude to this, very specifically.

Perhaps that's what Boomer (finally?) sees, thus helping Ellen Tigh.

well that was crap. they follow up some of the best stuff in the series with the mutiny with that emotional turd of an episode, what a letdown. i was hoping with only 5 episodes left they wouldn't have any time for filler, guess i was wrong

Yeah, this episode was a bit of a let down to me too, nothing except for the death of the Cylon baby was really big except for the mass of brain activity from Anders.

Yeah, horrible episode considering how much time they have left.

It also firmly reinforced why I hate the Ellen Tigh character so intensely.

Bah, just when I thought BSG was getting good again, the air that turd of an episode.

What was up with Tyroll instantly switching from "Yes sir, I'm ready to be your chief again and help get this ship patched up" to "My vote is to abandon the humans" without any explanation?

What happened to the wise and mature mother-figure Ellen from the previous episode?

Why would anyone agree to arm civilians (let alone Baltar's cult-like harem!) with military-issue assault rifles? Did they forgot what happened the last time they gave Baltar a powerful weapon?

How did Boomer and Ellen find the fleet exactly? Was that explained?

I wondered that too, but since I broke the episode up and watched over a few sittings I forgot about it quite easily.

Normally I set aside time to watch shows I like, after 20 mins I got up this time and thought "I can finish this later"

They used the mc036 plothole navicomputer.

Very expensive but easy to use, it has one button on it which takes it to the human fleet.

I find myself often asking why I enjoy this show. You can drive a Battlestar through the plot holes and every character makes decisions that are so absolutely outside anything you would imagine they would within the ethos of the show. Why would Adama give guns to Balthar? Why would Balthar even ask for guns?

What happened to the crazy goo tub lady that controls the base ships? Is she a cylon? A broken model? A hybrid? From where? What's Starbuck? How many Cylon models actually are there?

Where is the fleet going? Did it not occur to anyone that they should probably start looking for a place to live? Is the fleet safe from the cylons that did not defect? Do they not care anymore about the original cylons? Is the war over? If the base ship in the fleet is made up of organic material that can repair itself, why does it still look like it's half blown up?

Sigh, I missed the episode over the weekend, and finally watched it. Did I miss something in my stream? The Baltar story went from them being surrounded, to hanging out in Adama's quarters. Also I found it interesting that Tigh figures Ellen made up God so the 7 didn't worship the final 5 and Ellen disagrees. I really hope the ending satisfies me. But after that last episode I wonder....

The Romans actually did this and it is quite ingenious really. You supply one group with loads of money and arms and they work for you and make sure things run smoothly and they keep other gangs from rising up and taking food from people.

I am sure all of these questions and more will be answered in the upcoming episodes.

Where is the fleet going? They don't know. They can't go anywhere right now with Galactica in the shape it is, I assume they will find a new home before the series is over.

I find this a far more likely explanation than the Daniel Greystone theory. I don't think it could be Daniel Greystone as the timelines didn't match up. I recall Ellen saying that the Final Five (or should we say Original Five) didn't arrive at the 12 colonies until the end of the First Cylon War. Well after the events of Caprica.

I suspect, however, that since Daniel Greystone apparently had a lot to do with the creation of cylons in the 12 colonies that the No. 7 model may be named after him in a type of tribute.

I also used to think we'd see a Beings of Light deus ex machina by this point in the season. But I don't so anymore, but the Starbuck thing still might fix.

Beings of Light for those not in the know:

I think Daniel = that piano player that was in the bar when Kara asked when they got a piano. Also based on the bartender's reaction, it seemed like the player/music was only seen/heard by Kara.

Seems like a pretty good guess now.

Really enjoyed tonight's episode. Best I've seen in a while.
