Sara must be a freak in bed with how tight her pants always are. Great 2nd half adjustments by Hamilton. What a great game anyway.

It's actually a good news because George is such a dirty player that he wants to injure our QB or Cornish and some the OLine with his cheap shot.
Congrats to Henry Burris and the Hamilton TigerCats for beating Toronto Argonauts. Interesting for Riders fans to see the player they hate so much Burris, used to be fan favorite Andy Fantuz and their favorite former QB and former Head Coach Kent Austin against hopefully the Calgary Stampeders.

Voted for Kodos

Hopefully the redblacks pick Glenn in the expansion draft. Best case scenario for Calgary, I think.
Means we can't lose Tate, Mitchell, Maver or Paredes, and can protect more non imports on top of that.

He lets loose on Calgary for giving up on him....hmmmm......I wonder if he understands now how Rider fans felt when he gave up on them?
It works both ways Frank.

Frank better keep his mouth shut. If he plans to continue living here he better learn to keep his mouth closed or that gap toothed smile will be toothless.

Burris' comments are nothing against the city, only the organization for moving him out. I don't have any problem with what he said.
As for the Grey Cup, I really hope it is cold and windy. I LOVE the outdoor Grey Cup games and how they embrace the cold Canadian winter. Weather supposed to be very cold this week in Regina, but warming up to -3 on Sunday. I hope that cold snap sets in for a few extra days...

Or do I.
Handing the keys over to rocks for brains and sticks for bones Tate, was risky. That was clear with that first half against EDM in the playoffs when Tate did nothing except a key INT and fumble, when Hank came in after half and almost pulled it out in his last game here.
Thank goodness for Glenn coming back in that trade or this team would've either had Siniopli last year, or have to overpay to get a guy like Pierce or something like that. And then this year, forced BLM (which may have been o, but not ideal) into action..

I don't think it was that risky of a move. Huff said getting Glenn back in the trade is what was key for him.
Tate won the job from Burris at the end of the 2011 year. A bad half of football from Tate in his first playoff game (while unfortunate) shouldnt of deterred the Stampeders from making Tate the number one QB.
Huff/The Stampders had no idea about the injury problems that Tate would suffer over the next two years.

I don't care what Burris says... he's got nothing about the Calgary people just the team in particular. Besides even if he says anything bad to Calgary, i will still cheer for TiCats.... that's how much i hate the Riders.

Regarding the infamous "sex question" which was initiated by Toronto sportswriter Jim "Shaky" Hunt 50-some years ago at Grey Cup, Ticats coach Kent Austin and Rider coach Corey Chamblin were asked if they'll allow their players to engage in sexual activity the night before the game. Since the passing of Hunt, the Edmonton Sun's Terry Jones has continued the tradition of asking the question.
"It's about football, it's championship week,'' Chamblin smiled. "The guys are focused on football. They win the championship, they'll have a lot of it, trust me.''
"After that, I've got nothing!" laughed Austin.

The fact is that by the end of 2011, Burris was clearly struggling and Tate was clearly the heir apparent (after being groomed for several years). The trade to Hamilton has been good for Hank, and we benefited as well by allowing Tate to become the undisputed starter and getting Glenn as the reliable veteran backup. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone would have foreseen Tate being as injured as he's been, or Glenn stepping in as admirably (at least in the regular season) as he's done.
Now, it's pretty clear that BLM is the heir apparent (although I expect they'll have an open competition to start camp next year), and that one of Tate and Glenn have to go. If one doesn't get picked up in the expansion draft; I think a trade is definitely in the works.

Any idiot that doesn't think the CFL is a thriving league should hit them himself over the head after reading some stuff Cohon said below at the State of The League this morning (some other stuff in there as well).
Reebok will celebrate a new contract extension with the CFL by introducing stunning new third uniforms in 2014.
Television ratings continue to grow: CFL ratings on TSN were up 4.3 per cent from a year ago, and ratings on TSN and RDS combined were up 3.6 per cent.
An average of 703,000 Canadians watched each CFL regular season game on TSN, and 758,000 watched on TSN and RDS combined – the second highest ratings in the history of the CFL.
The CFL enjoyed its most successful year for corporate partnerships ever, with the exception of the year of the 100th Grey Cup, signing new agreements with LOWES, Canadian Pacific, Mark’s Work Wearhouse, Dr. Oetker and Great Western Brewing.
The latest available numbers, from September, show the league’s merchandising business is up 7 per cent, with apparel up 6 per cent and headwear up 14 per cent, with growth for all teams.
Our digital footprint continues to grow: we saw increases in mobile app views (51 per cent), @CFL Twitter following (75 per cent), Facebook likes (26 per cent), unique visitors to CFL.ca (16 per cent) , and page views (14 per cent).
Moncton hosted another successful CFL game there, NAPA Touchdown Atlantic, and the league advised the City of Halifax on stadium considerations, as the CFL continued to explore the possibility of a tenth team in Atlantic Canada.
Cohon, who acknowledged a year ago that the league had work to do in southern Ontario, said television ratings indicate more and more people in the region are following the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Southern Ontario ratings for Argo regular season games were up 27 per cent compared to last season and 52 per cent compared to 2011, while the Tiger-Cats southern Ontario ratings were up 19 per cent compared to last season, and 32 per cent compared to 2011.
Average attendance for a regular season CFL game this year was 28,963, an increase of 1.5 per cent over last year, if you do not include home games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, who played at the University of Guelph while their new stadium, Tim Hortons Field, is being built in Hamilton.
Guelph’s Alumni Stadium had a capacity of 13,000, less than half the size of the team’s previous home at Ivor Wynne Stadium. If you include attendance numbers from Guelph, the per game average attendance was 27.017, down 4 per cent from last year.
Cohon said player health and safety, and particularly concussion awareness, prevention and treatment, is paramount for the league, which will seek a new collective bargaining agreement with its players in 2014.

You read it here first. Expect Toronto Argos defensive coordinator Chris Jones to be the next head coach of the Edmonton Eskimos.
