Or, maybe, he went on vacation.

Or maybe management took care of him permanently. Perhaps they didn't like the competition?

As a fan of the jersey concept, I will just pretend that I cracked the case. One other piece of evidence is that I was certain that the jersey was in this thread at one point, however I cannot seem to find the post. I can still see the jersey in the other thread started by Dr. Pepper so I am sure I am wrong... or just missed it in this thread.
Edit: so was there a post that made the mods put him in the sin bin or perhaps it was requested... hmmmmm...

Think I have put together my favourite set of Flames jerseys. A blend of 30 years of Calgary Flames hockey.

Well typically it's posts that gets anyone in the sin bin..
It wasn't anything to do with this thread.

So I mocked up a set of jerseys based on the lions jerseys (post #607) but I dont have anyway to host it. If someone is interested I can sent them a jpeg via email and they can take care of the rest. Just send me a PM. Or if one of you more internet savvy posters can lead me to a good place where I could host it that would also work.

Thanks sun. So that was relatively painless I decided to go with more of a gunmetal color, black doesn't tend to read very well. Aside from that I used the flames current shade of red and switched the shoulder patch to a flamish maple leaf. I used iginla because it's the easiest font example to find on the web. Hope you enjoy.

I can barely read the names or numbers on that as it is. I think it's an interesting idea, but just not feasible for a sport that moves as fast as hockey.

As per Ashasx request this should be closer to the shade you see in the jerseys now. Still don't think the numbers or lettering read that well. The second is a quick adjustment to the black/grey scale helps the numbers pop a bit more.

I think there is too much red on the shoulders/arms.

They should just go old school with the brown gloves, pants and wooden sticks

Etc. . . .
Do I really need to point out here that this was a concept design for the ATLANTA Flames? Hence the Flaming A logo; hence no Flaming C; hence Lysiak's name on the back. It wasn't intended for Calgary at all.
Geez.
