LOL what a collapse today. I'd be terrified for next Sunday night if my expectations weren't completely obliterated already. The way the Saints look so far, the Packers will probably win by 3 TD's. Or more...
D is a mess, and they need new OT's in the worst way. Can we at least try 1 game with Charles Brown at either spot? If it don't work send him back to the bench, not a big loss.
And since it probably will get lost in the Charles and even Succop hoopla, but what a job by Colquitt on the punts today, seemed like almost every drive for the Saints in the 2nd half was starting within their own 5 (not that it would've mattered anyway, the way Strief was getting bent over). I can't remember a combined P/K doing that well against N.O. since the '06 NFCCG with Maynard/Gould.

I'm really on the fence right now about the Bucs offensive struggles. Playcalling is such a big factor, as they are simply playing way too conservative on offense, and not letting Freeman take some chances down the field...at the same time, is that because they don't trust him to make good choices? At some point you gotta take the training wheels off and see what he's all about. If he's not good enough to run a more aggressive offense, then find out now so you can start looking for a QB that can do that.
Otherwise the D-Line has reminded me of the early 2000's Bucs D-Lines. Michael Bennett and Gerald McCoy are absolutely dominating opposing lines, and in general the entire front 7 has been terrific. Funny how unlike last year its the defense keeping them in it while the offense struggles to find a rhythm.

Edelman! 20-14 Patriots at the half.

Worst defense I have seen in a long time. Has any DC's stock fallen faster than Steve Spagnuolo's? Since winning the Superbowl and joining the Rams as head coach it's been all downhill for his career as that defense was embarrassing today. Charles is a good running back but a poor RB would have had a 100 yard day on that defense. Brees also sloppy as that interception he threw in the 3rd quarter was a bad decision and the game turned right there. Personally I would have preferred KC losing but I always enjoy seeing the Saints lose. That franchise is disgusting.

I may be biased but that Ed Reed hit seemed pretty clean to me.
Anyway glad to see New England held to a field goal on that series.

Spagnulo doesn't deserve that much blame. Simply put, the Saints lack talent on their defense. It's a defense filled with average and mediocre players. Thats why Gregg Williams always blitzed like a madman, because thats the only way they can slow other offenses down, hope the pressure creates turnovers. When they didn't, they lost. The Saints are in a tough spot with their franchise. A lot of money is commited to offensive guys, and to win another Super Bowl they must upgrade the talent on D.

The Red Rocket looks like the best QB in the division right now. Besides it's fun to root for the Bengals when your alternatives are the Ravens and the Steelers.

Oh boy plenty of questionable calls on that series, but I guess it is good since Brandon Llyod got away with a beautiful push off.
Too bad Cam Cameron and John Harbaugh are so in love with each as it could be 31-30 for the good guys.

The Saints look like a team that took a huge blow in the off season, how does this surprise anyone?
Also Elway and Fox should be fired after this season. Trading a 1st round pick for a 4th rounder and digging Manning up from his grave for 28 million a season was a huge setback for a promising young team. What if this team does worse than 8-8? How could that Manning money been used differently? I guess we will never know.

Reminiscent of the AFC championship game, Brady throws a pick, ref throws a flag.
