Jpold, who's the architect on that? Not bad. I sat infront of a guy at the game last night that said he owned the construction company that was working on this project. Small world.

Anyone want a $10M condo in Keynote tower 1?
http://www.calgaryherald.com/busines...445/story.html
Truly the greatest Latte-sipper of all time can call that place home.
Fun fact: I watched them lift that dining room table up with a mobile crane from my place in arriVa.

I guess they are going for the older conservative cowboy-millionaire type, but that place looks pretty hokey and outdated for that price.

We could see the crane out our window when we lived there. I always wanted to see inside the penthouse to see what they did with it. Not really what I expected, but interesting enough. Have to admit though, that big rooftop patio area is pretty cool.
I was told it was the owner of CANA (who also constructed the building) that bought the penthouse for his daughter. I was also told it was a $6M price tag when they bought it, but it would've been undeveloped.

Posting from the SSP forum meet. Bigtime's mutton chops are more epic than Telus Sky, Eau Claire 3 and Brookfield Place put together.

Not a skyscraper but what do you guys think about Goodlife Fitness moving into the old Bank of Montreal building?
One one hand, I'm glad something is going in there rather than let it sit but I am worried a gym is going to ruin the historic interiors in there. At least when it was A&B sound you still had the old fashioned floor layout with open air to the ceiling and all the details like the iron railings and then the fancy vaulted ceiling and ceiling tile designs.

Always thought that would've been an ideal place for a flagship Apple Store, or flagship store for something else, but given the graveyard downtown is after dark and mostly on weekends, it's not worth it to Apple given the square footage.
Didn't know a gym was going in there.

Fellow forum member WIGS has a local company called Frontier Metropolis that makes all kinds of cool YYC-centric shirts.
I believe they are revamping their website right now and it is not accessible, here is their facebook page:
