What a pathetic effort by the refs tonight. Both Packers touchdowns were a direct result of blown calls.

Capers and his described 'Genious' after last season sure took a shot in the chops this year. His defense was one of the more pourous ive seen in a while from a SB favorite team

Even though the Giants are likely to win now, there will be a bigger stink about those two blown calls because its against a NY team in the playoffs, than the several errors the same ref Leavy made on a bigger stage in Superbowl XL.

Giants look like a complete football team. Great to see a performance like this so Eli can get even more respect for having a great year. Outplaying Rodgers in Lambeau and playing one of his best games of his career.

NO question, Capers and the whole defensive unit has struggled. The main spot of dissapointment for me is how they continue to struggle with communication and execution of what is essentially the same defence squad and concept as last year.
But I think Thompson deserves alot of the blame too. He let Jenkins go and banked on an injury prone 2nd year player, Neal, to take up the slack. Without Jenkins (who outside of Matthews was their only real consistant pass rush threat last year), he fails to get any outside LB or DL help in the draft or via Free agency, and he also failed again to get any depth behind Raji (who has been a shade of what he was last year).
Losing Collins to an injury was bad luck but that happens to every team, but the play of the Packers last year really masked alot of the problems this unit had.

The Giants need to establish their run game. Bradshaw and Jacobs think they have elusiveness in their skill set. IMO, they're more effective when they remember their 240lbs and just lower their shoulders.

The score flatters the Packers. That game wasn't even close.

Going to have to get it going next week but if they do they are the most complete team left in the playoffs.

Hard to argue. Their pass rush and receiving corps make up for an average secondary and below average run game.

Stunned by that Packers effort, and more than sick to my stomach that the Saints would have had the Giants in the dome if they had played a little zone defence. Ouch.

Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the season long anticipated rematch between the Packers and Saints for the NFC title! ...brought to you by the Giants and 49ers.
Tough to stomach, had the Saints D only not collapsed there at the end, they'd be hosting the NFC Championship against a team they crushed at the Dome just over a month before. But in a petty, misery loves company sort of way, I'm happy we're not the biggest shocker of the weekend anymore.

IMO the two week layoff for Rogers really showed in that the offence just wasn't in sync all day and the Packers had problems holding on to the ball. I don't mind though as now the Raiders can start on filling their head coach vacancy which I'm sure will be Moss or Philbin who the Raiders are rumoured to be interviewing soon.
