EXTREMELY happy with the lack of news around the flames so far. Loving the shift to build this team right through the draft. Hoping for some trades for younger centre. Pinto makes so much sense

I think a guy like him to protect the young goalies and keep the you defense honest would be helpful for the flames. Not necessarily saying him - but Engeland Part 2.

As much as TSN can be very cringey during these type of days, they do invest a lot in trying to keep the audience someone engaged. Whether it works or not, credit to them.

As far as signings go for the Flames. I'd like a couple:
Wennberg if Monny ain't coming back
Gostibehere
Roslovic maybe instead of Wennberg,
And a goalie.

They have no one signed to any expensive contracts. They just went out and got some. only forward making over $4.5M for Nasville was Forsberg and only Dman making over $2.75M was Josi.

Monahan at a 5 year deal? Craziness. Normally I'd say that would expose a good GM from the bad, but in this case Winnipeg tends to be in the right. They can be critiqued though. It's a bad risk.
