If the stairs didn't kill you, it was a fun place.
Yessir, it's an institution on Stephen. And yes a sobriety test on those stairs.

A spackling of showers, is all. it's also beyond reasonable forecast range, so I wouldn't be planning my weekend around it.

60% rain in Calgary is 100% rain for the NW. I will say my lawn and valley behind the house has never looked better for early August. Lush and green while the last few summers it's been brown.

General rule for Calgary weather is that if the forecast is bad, it will be bad. And if the forecast is good, there's a 50% chance it will be bad

To be fair tomorrow’s weather is also beyond the reasonable forecast range.

I don't know if its a general human optimism thing that definitely permeates weather forecasting. Bizarre that its so true and probably applies to every location.

This is pretty hilarious but truthfully Calgary’s summers are amazing, IMO.

I’ve taken much worse than I’ve dished, but it comes with the territory of dishing it. At least I own my business instead of using booze as an excuse.

Ohhh, so that's who that St. Andrew's Cross was set up for during pride week in the tiki bar level of Sweet Loretta.

I’ll take all the death threats/people telling me to kill myself, anti-LGBTQ hate speech, and the prolific list of aggressive, deeply personal insults from “good guys” if it means even one more day of entertaining you, my adoring audience.

I mean c'mon, that was too good of a set up, man.

"I've taken worse", where did you think that was headed?

Do threats like that happen on CP? Not trying to gotcha or bust you - I believe that happens IRL and online. Does it happen on CP, too? If so, what can we do to fk sht up for you?

In all seriousness, they better not be happening on CP.

I dunno, a huge chunk of posters on CP know exactly who I am in real life and where I work and how to get in contact with me, and the ones who dont could very easily figure it out, and I've never had a problem.

Eh? I mean there's no place for that kind of crap on the forum, and if people have done that and aren't getting sh-tcanned from the forum for it, then what the f-ck, that's not alright.
