Isn't it fun to watch in real time to see how broken American democracy is? Can someone pass the rolaids?
I'm always fond of pointing out that despite the fact that the US is one of the oldest continuous democracies in the world, the most high-profile, and has done more to 'spread' democracy than any other nation, no other fledgling democracy has ever looked at the American system of elections and said 'yeah, that makes sense, we'll use that model.'
From what I know, the official electors were selected back in the spring/summer. Not sure who these magical Trump electors are that he's talking about, but my guess is he's full of crap.
Could they be the official Republican electors in states like Wisconsin, Arizona, etc.? That would be very sad if so.

Maybe? I'm honestly not sure exactly how the electors are chosen. Their system is so weird and convoluted, I just can't wrap my head around it no matter how much I read up on the process.
I doubt we see any, but if we do I think WI, PA and GA could be the culprits. AZ is in the mix because Governor DooshyDoofy Ducey tried to intervene in the count and made Arizona a bit of a #### show. It is just sad to watch all of this happen and recognize that the trust in our electoral system has been forever altered.

To me the sad part isn't that the trust is altered, it's that such a massive number of people and public servants are totally behind these actions. The system is absolutely flawed, but the scary problem is that so many people clearly just actually don't care at all about democracy.

You can watch Pennsylvania's live here if you want. They're voting right now.
Down to Wisconsin, which I think goes without a hitch. Trump will be in a real miserable mood this evening. Twitter will be entertaining/depressing as hell. Parler will be sedition central. I hope the feds have that place on lockdown and recording everything said.
Michigan Republican legislative leaders pulled a GOP lawmaker from his committee assignments Monday after the lawmaker hinted he was part of a group that sought to disrupt or otherwise undermine the Electoral College vote slated to happen at the Capitol this afternoon.
Clinton won the popular vote but lost the election and then conceded. Trump lost the popular vote by an even larger number this time and also lost the election decisively and is still not conceding.
