Hobbs +22,749, an increase of over 6,000 votes. Hobbs has surpassed the percentage point lead in the race.
Mark Kelly just pushed through the 100,000 vote advantage over Blake Masters and has a 5.5 point advantage over his challenger. Kelly has also surpassed the million vote level.
Could he look more pathetic? The failed old emperor without his MAGA fantasy robes. Pathetic and gross.
Ironically the best hope for American politics to return to some shred of normalcy is probably for Trump to create his own MAGA party and obliterate the GOP
More results in. Unfortunately, it looks like Boebert is headed back to the house barring an enormous democratic margin in the very small amount of votes still to come.
I think I've moved right on some issues, but stayed pretty left on most, especially domestic social issues. I was raised by parents that I would describe as on the left.
When it comes to things like housing, education, the environment, medical care, taxes, subsidies, etc..., I have always been left-left. Where I have moved right, it is on things like immigration, crime, trade, the economy. I consider myself a centrist because I think that is where I average out, but I am left on some things and right on others.
Get out of my head!

I mean I still believe in private industry over government, global free trade and lower corporate tax rates.
...but my views have moderated from more extreme levels on those things, and the conservative parties have shifted on all those issues, where it's become more about telling people how to live. I always thought disliking government interference as a conservative meant you wanted freedom for everyone. Unfortunately the reality is that freedom is for an exclusive club to be jerks at the expense of everyone else.
So I shifted left...It was economy first for me and everything else will sort itself out. The reality is the economy is people and our planet. So take care of the those two things first and you get a far better economy.
Yup, it's a pretty simple principle called the triple bottom line. Nature is the only producer of matter...follow the line of thinking in this very short video.

Fat lady will sing once the the Election Day drop offs are counted.
It appears the big Maricopa dump is in and it did have a huge impact on things as Yoho suggested.
Hobbs 1,031,373
Lake 1,004,494
Hobbs +26,879, an increase of over 4,130 votes. Hobbs has a 1.4 point lead in the race.
Mark Kelly has a 114,894 vote advantage over Blake Masters and has a 5.6 point advantage over his challenger.
According to the Secretary of State's Office, Maricopa is 100% counted and reported. The last large block of ballots to be counted is from Pima with 114,000 left to be recorded. Pima is Hobbs +20.

This magical tranche is going to have to be +25 for Lake and +50 for Masters for them to stand a chance, and that is without looking at Pima and the further numbers coming from that county.

The US does run elections terribly. 50 independently run travesties.
The whole system is intentionally being designed to lower turn out and reduce trust.
Florida can count votes properly.
When you look at Arizona the ability to drop off an early ballot on Election Day does delay counting but also makes voting easier. Is this trade off worth it. In Canada for example early voting has a cut off before the election.
only a matter of time before the GOP tears itself apart.

Just days before he’ll likely announce he’s running for president, Trump took credit for DeSantis’ success after endorsing him in 2018, belittled him as “average” and accused “Ron DeSanctimonious” of playing games by not announcing his 2024 presidential ambitions.
'Do you need a timeout?' Journalist tells Kari Lake to 'grow up' after she calls Arizona a 'banana republic'
Quote:
“Kari Lake was vowing to call the Arizona Legislature into a special session because she didn’t get a balloon drop on election night,” Roberts added. “Do you need a timeout? That’s what I used to ask my toddler sons when they’d throw themselves onto the floor, kicking and screaming, because they didn’t get their way.”
Roberts also mocked Lake, seemingly suggesting she does not know how the government of the state she wants to run works.
“Kari Lake was on Fox, complaining about ‘shoddy elections that are run by imbeciles’ and vowing a special session of the Legislature – though I’m not sure why a special session would be needed given that the Legislature will convene just seven days after our new governor takes office.”
“Oh, grow up,” Roberts repeated, standing up for elections workers who are “following the law.”
“For the adults in the room,” she explains, “what’s happening now with the delay in counting was entirely expected. It’s the product of close races and an early ballot system created by Republicans and run by Republicans.”
“A process that was made difficult because of the very Republicans who are now pitching a fit.”
there's 332 million people in the US. It always amazes me that, of all the people, they so often manage to end up with cartoonish lunatics like Kari Lake as candidates. Where do they even find these people?! It's mind-boggling.
