Thanks for the recommendations. I've been enjoying Vampire Survivors so picked up these from Steam to try out.

I hope you enjoy them but also apologies for them eating up your gaming time.

With the holiday sale, I also picked up 20 minutes til dawn, soul stone survivors, god of weapons based on some reviews I saw around. Keep an eye out on the steam automatic bundles, you'll get an extra discounted price on some of these with your previous purchases too.

Happy gaming!

Bought it in November maybe two or three days before I finally got into Red Dead Redemption 2.... it may be a while until I finally get to Jedi Survivor.

Death must Die is so good. Vampire survivors mixed with Hades, loot drops, unlockable passive skills, 5 classes, its just a good time and highly recommended.

I'm like 34% of the way through and I'm already planning on two more playthroughs!

It's okay, I am not digging it as much. Definitely not a ton of achievements and the palette doesn't hook me.

Mechabellum is a completely different game but the whole build a bunch of robots and beat up things is fun. Just started but I guess there is a crazy online meta. Being able spectate games is cool.

My own opinion, but RDR2, for me, is one of the greatest games ever made. I still play it five years later!

I also just bought Dave the Diver off the Steam sale last night. Super stoked to jump into this one!

I’m a big Nintendo guy but they’re set to announce and release a new platform in 2024, if you’re leaning that way you’d be better off waiting.

Nothing better than hogtying one of your enemies behind your horse, booking it to the swamp while they get trampled by the terrain behind you, then throwing them in the muddy waters and sit back while the alligators show up!

Man, you can be an absolute sick #### in that game.

Well if you have a PS4 game catalog you care anything about the PS5 makes a ton of sense. Lots of the top games received PS5 updates as well for higher FPS which makes replays way more fun

So they say! I'm pretty excited.

As for your other options, I would personally lean Steam Deck if I was gonna pick up another platform these days. I haven't been very happy with PS5 myself and find myself less and less interested in the type of experiences that are popular on it (big budget cinematic adventures, sports/ racing games, etc.). But if you like those types of games and were getting a lot out of your PS4, you can't really go wrong with it and there's lots of life left in that platform.
