The buyout window is closed (with the exception of arbitration award windows).

Had a bunch of bonuses after last year so they are actually paying him ~$4.5 MM this season.

Doubt it will actually happen, but what's the waiver order if the rags do waive Trouba?

One thing that (selfishly) sucks about Scorp getting bigger and bigger gigs, is he ain't got the time to put together those comprehensive GDTs for free agency. Those were always amazing.

Same targets I said before were a priority for Craig.
I know Calgary called on Kakko but no idea the cost.
I still feel like Duclair will be a flame.
DeBrusk was a very real target but if a bidding war took place CGY likely would be out, won’t offer the term other teams would.
Still hearing Copley as a goalie target though another names come up as well, I’ve inquired but haven’t heard.
Dumba remains of interest on a buy low veteran presence
I asked about Gio on a 1 year no word yet
No Monahan here pretty much confirmed.
CGY remains open to take on bad contracts, though it sounds like teams would rather buyout then give a prime asset to take a contract thus far.

Truly hope we can capitalize on cap space and add pieces that fit what we are looking for
Consider our rumored shopping list. 3rd goalie that can shuttle between nhl and ahl. What about Cal Petersen? Instead of a buyout, take him at half and have Philly add a pick or prospect to incentivize. Or throw in a farabee to make it worth our while.
Top 9 C. What about taking on JP Pageau (assuming he would waive) or Kasperi K from Carolina, for a price? Depends on price conroy sets.
D - what about Justin Holl as depth piece that we are looking for? Can we eat one year of orlov?
Teams that I see in real trouble. Philly (many pieces), NYI (Pageau), Pittsburgh (R Smith or Rakell). Other teams that have bad deals but don’t face the same pressure could be Ottawa (Chabot), Montreal (J Anderson), NJD (palat), Detroit (Holl) and Carolina (Kasperi K and Orlov). If any of these teams want to be players and dump these deals, might be a chance for us to take advantage of a “distressed sale”.

Man, you know there's no way I was fully awake when I posted that. I:
1) didn't even read his full username, so didn't even realize it until RIGHT NOW
2) didn't read his location
...my bad
