To believe otherwise is akin to sticking your head in the sand. The facts are the facts. Just because you say it ain't so doesn't mean it isn't. People will die, and have died, because of the H1N1 flu. Thats a fact. I also suspect that 99% percent of those people were not vaccinated.
|
I suspect that 99% of those people also had underlying health complications.

Tell that to the father of the perfectly healthy 13 year old boy in Toronto, who died the other day. He may disagree with you.

Maybe that person should have been smart enough to get the shot themselves.
Just found out my dad might have it, doctor says most likely he does, and I'm still not going to rush down to get my shot. There are people out there who need it a lot more than a healthy male, 26 years old with no history of medical problems.
If anyone dies I will blame the healthy people who didn't need to get it right away taking the shot away from those who needed it more.

You should hit the streets with a bull-horn and tell everyone they should get the shot. If they disagree, you should then tell them what dumb/foolish/selfish/murderers they are.
I have a feeling you would come home with a black eye....

So now people are foolish because they don't listen to your and other peoples opinion? I bet you were the first person in line to fix your Y2K problems too weren't you.

Yes you're right everyone should listen to you and your irrationally and those who do not are foolish. You're just as ignorant and stubborn as the people who refuse the shots for irrational reasons (conspiracies, etc.) you are trying to make it sound like if you contract the disease there is a much higher chance of you dying than there really is. Furthermore you make the jump by saying that those who spread it to someone else who dies (however unlikely that may be) are entirely responsible for it and should "rot in hell".
Do you even know the likely hood of someone dying after contracting H1N1?
I know this maybe beside the point but I'd like to shed some light on the irony of you and your sanctimonious reasoning that you have some god given right to tell people what they should put in there bodies like you're some expert when your choice for lunch today was Kraft Dinner and Hot Dogs.

I will be lining up at a clinic before 7am tomorrow morning. I was going to go today, but ran out of time.
I thought I was growing out of my asthma, but I just had an asthma attack last week, so I am not taking any chances.

I refer you to Bobblehead's answer:

Those in the high risk category should have first priority.

Are you trying to say that death is preventable when you exercise caution? That's not anything new to anybody.

I was talking about the drivers in the first place, which was my point.

Well if you are out there pushing your nonsense on people, and then insulting them for disagreeing, Hells' Angel or not the angry mob would get you.....
I wish I had a picture of an angry mob to illustrate this for you.
