that entire video was the author trying to prove that he was right all along about not being to high on Wyttenbach.
The clip early in, when he enters the zone and then passes it into the middle is a good example...a) there were 3 teammates behind him b) he hits an open man in the slot, on the tape c) the guy fumbles the pass and it goes the other way d) it isn't an odd man rush. There was nothing wrong with that play, unless you want there to be something wrong with it.
For the most part, it's 20 minutes of criticizing his positional play - something NHL coaches will take care of anyways. No one claimed that Wyttenbach is a perfect player - that's why he went in the 5th round. But when it comes to prospects, I care a lot more about their tools than their positional play.
Results matter too. He has the production. His team is wildly successful, all things considered.
Positional Play < Tools < Results IMO
Credit to the coach. He really seems to be able to get the most of Wyttembach, in a matter that helps both the player and the team.
Putting off knee surgery for 2 years was incredible luck for the Flames, scouts thought he was just an average skater which dropped him, he may have went a 100+ places higher had he had it fixed as a 16 years old.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but the Hobey Baker favorites aren't even on that list.
Well favourite is completely subjective at this point and just a smattering of opinions but if look around and Hobey Baker speculation for the season Wyttenbach is talked about in most of those discussions.

I know you like to be 'keeping it real' guy - but you are basing your opinion off old information. Most of the recent Hobey Baker winners have been freshmen or sophomores (Celebrini, Fantilli, Caufield).
If McKenna finishes first in scoring - I'd almost guarantee he wins it.
Wytter will be in the top ten; guessing the Hobey Hatrick will be Hage, Pohlkamp and Augustine
I fully expect one of the Plantes to win the trophy. I don't expect Wyttenbach to be top 20. I don't understand the hype around the Plantes, but they have a ton of support in college hockey media circles.
