This whole thing has been fun, and the political overtones have certainly added to the atmosphere. But honestly I’m nowhere near as nervous about this game as I would be if this were the Olympics or if the Flames were playing for a Cup. More than anything this tournament has simply been a fun distraction from all the horrible bulls*** going on in the world. And it’s been cool watching Canadian and American fans enjoying the game and having fun together in the crowd.
