No maybe 100% Levy needed to do more in the summer. CB and AM depth were 100% needed amongst other things.

Any day Everton get a win is a bad day.

Liverpool squeak ahead of the mighty Arsenal on goal difference.

Looking at the table, it’s super close overall at this point. Only two points separate 1st from 5th and a lot of matches have been close also.

Which honestly, is nice for a change rather than a runaway leader and a desperate chaser.

An actual title race?

City play Liverpool, Spurs & Villa next too; so lots of point shuffling coming in the top 5.
Spurs also have a very difficult run of games including City, Villa & Newcastle soon.
Villa have to play City, Arsenal & Spurs 3 of their next 4 matches.

So many spicy matches between now and Dec 10th. Then the crazy holiday season.

Well I’d remove Spurs from those scenarios. We just don’t have the horses to be in the mix and our 2015 reserves of Dier and Davies are going to see us drop most of those.

It seems wide open, and then you remember Man City don't really start playing until January/February and it's still hard to imagine anyone but them winning it. At least they've dropped unexpected points with Wolves and Chelsea to keep things interesting enough for now though.

Diaz gets his father back!

Quote:
Liverpool and Colombia winger Luis Díaz has reunited with his father for the first time since the latter's kidnapping ordeal, the Colombian football federation said on Tuesday.

Luis Manuel Díaz, 58, was released on Thursday by the leftist National Liberation Army (ELN) 12 days after he was taken hostage on Oct. 28 in Barrancas, a rural municipality where he lives in the northern province of La Guajira.

Just catching up on some of the weekend games and watching Brighton play Sheffiield.. what am outstanding goal by Simon Adingra. I don't understand how BHA keeps finding these players.

I know Locke will be saddened to hear this, but Everton was assessed a 10 point deduction for breaching FFP and this puts them in 19th with Burnley below them on goal difference.

Amazing how they get hit with this and meanwhile the “real” problems just keep rolling unpunished. I read earlier this week about new problems unearthed for Chelsea that could see points deducted, but we all know that’s not happening. Those financial doping infractions don’t get points deductions, they get a fine or something innocuous like that.

Everton are lucky with the timing on this. The last two seasons they would have been in trouble, but they’ll still survive this season pretty easily.

Now I’m really looking forward to Man City’s 10 point deduction for each of their charges.

I'm really looking forward to Margot Robbie being my date to the company Christmas party too. I might actually have a better chance though.

Its just more EPL BS. You hit them with this last season and they're in the Championship, this season they'll be basement fodder but they'll be okay because the promoted clubs are god-awful and going right back down.

not to defend Everton or anything, but punishing them while the likes of City and Chelsea are allowed to break rule after rule without any consequences is ridiculous. Expected nothing else from the PL, but still.

If Everton have breached financial rules, absolutely go ahead and punish them. A 10 point deduction seems harsh though, especially as we won't see the same standards applied to Man City or Chelsea. If they were, we'd be seeing those clubs dropping far, far down the pyramid and that's highly unlikely to happen.
