You can see it in the way he speaks, his mannerisms and thoughts. Everything about the way he carries himself and communicates his vision is miles ahead of any Treliving coaching hires (outside of Sutter).

I'm sold on this guy through and through.
I have a good feeling to. Hopefully he gets better than 0.885 goaltending.

I think Bob's been good both of the last two games. And game three should have never come to Tkachuk alone in front of the net. It should have been 4-1 by then.

If he understands why it happened last year I’m confident he will have no trouble

Love this...

Hardly surprising he won Conroy over with a PowerPoint presentation so detailed and full of video support that it also included clips on how to improve the power play, while also better limiting prime scoring chances against.

He wants to empower forwards to be more creative offensively, while being even more diligent in their own zone.

I’m warming to a guy that can take the good from Sutter’s systems (and there are a lot of good things) and improve on them.

Of course, without goaltending it doesn’t matter.

Exactly what Conroy was looking for. The Flames played well defensively for some long stretches in some games and then would give up a doozy of a chance for an easy goal. Huska wants to stop those mega easy goals and also let the offensive be more creative. Should be a lot more fun for the fans next year.......as long as the goaltending improves and the wins pile up.

Kirk Muller will not be returning to the team next season. As per Frank Seravali.

Makes sense. He’s a Sutter hire and not someone who came up with Huska (like Maclean).

Not surprising... he's reportedly been cold-calling around the league.

Now that I've had time to reflect I'm okay with Huska.
I think at one point the board here wanted Huska the same way as love.

I'd rather love but.... Huska was credited for All those great Kelowna rocket teams and graduating the younger players we have so why the hell not. He's not the assistant any more so for all I or anyone else knows he could have been pushing for more creativity and the old school guys he has been under vetoed him .

So let's see what he has got.

He's so transparent and well spoken.

Him and Conroy compared to Sutter and Treliving is just a jarring transition to be honest.

So, what do the Assistants look like at this point?

Alex Tanguay is a name that is being floated a lot.

Randy Carlyle I could see as well.

Getting some experience behind the bench would be good too. I wonder if Reirden is open to an assistant or associate coach role as well, since he was one of the finalists.

Well, hopefully Mitch Love is one of them for sure.
I would love to see Nate Leaman take the leap to the NHL.

This one's gonna catch some flack, but I have a feeling Dallas Eakins could fit nicely. plenty of experience without being a threat, a history with Kadri, and he did some decent things with individuals in Anaheim, even if they couldn't put it together. Plus a Calgary connection
